Any advice/tips on getting the stub pipe out? It's unscrewed here at the 2:05 mark, mine is tight AF and can't shift it.

Most of the time when a glow plug breaks, it is because the shroud near the tip is completely welded solid with carbon that has leaked past the seat. If the bond is strong enough that the head of the plug snaps off then there would no chance you could extract it with that little puller, it would just pull the tapped threads out.

Only thing is you will now destroy the actual lug nut b better off to remove the cap or beat the socket on to it 😂

Poor quality tool. Drill tip snapped in the head, and wiped the threads on one of the rods for the slide hammer after 3 pulls. Garbage

I gave this video a thumbs down because there does not seems to be a URL / Link to the tool. Is this a scam or a legitimate tool and product for sale? Also, what is the Jaw opening capability? What Toyota vehicles does this fit? These are simple specifications that should be listed. You'd sell a lot of these if you stated the specifications and details (if the intent is to sell the product) :-)

With the slide hammer extractor , the thread in the head MUST be damaged when you hammer it out. There MUST be another method somewhere.

I wish it had a 17.5 but still buying this set as I see and own lots of stuff with swollen lug nuts.

Got the 7650 tool kit today. Where do you get the metal pan.

In the last two jobs I did I was wanting something with a worm drive, but also without a slanted grip on the snap ring. An hour and two needle nose were wasted on the snap rings. I do not want to go looking for the ring because it slipped off a slanted tool while under tension. Parallel pliers with a worm drive will be the next search. These looked capable, but in real life, there's usually more difficulty in the field. That slanting with a one hinged tool is as much a problem as the uneven tension.

Do you use a regular air hammer or a low impact air hammer?

Same glow plugs as OM642 sprinters. Will be saving up for this tool. Always dread doing them because I don't have good extractor like this

Absolute must have if you work in a shop. I need a 21.5 on almost every newer F-150. Although I wish someone made a set with just 19.5, 21.5, and 22.5 in single sided deep length. I don't use extended anvil guns and the extension is just one more piece.

Could you please explain if that works for the latest 722.9 transmission? Where can we get more information?

How do i get the lug nut out of the socket? It has done its job but I still need the socket for another lug nut? should i lightly screw it back onto the stud?

with a long cobalt drill.. one could drill right thru the spinning stud that is driving you crazy.. now you have a pilot hole to drill it out larger until the threads are gone.. love it..

I could have used these when I replaced the turbo cartridges on my BMW but the cheapest price I've seen is $93 from Amazon. Reasonable price for a pro mechanic not so much for a home mechanic who will use these once every few years. would be nice if you guys made a cheaper version of these.

About time someone came up with this tool, it takes longer to remove that snap ring than the whole job... Although they showed a new ring being removed and installed. I want to see it against a rusted one!
