Hi Sophie! Can you explain why grab bars and built-up handles would not be considered low-tech because they are items or equipment that help people with maintaining or improving independence.

Good video. When measuring blood pressure the arm should be resting on a table and not be raised up or down. Ideally the arm should be resting on a table at the level of the heart.

I was wondering if i had a patient that had hallucinations how should i as their COTA do ? should i agree with the pt and what they are seeing in their hallucinations should i distract them with another activity what should i do or say to patient ?
Hi Kimberly. Brillant question. I am glad you asked. In the event the pt is hallucinating, try not to argue with what is seen or heard, and comforting the person if afraid. Also, you can district the pt by either going to another room or walking in a different environment.
