Love this one. I struggle to write negative book reviews because I very often DNF early on if I'm bored with a book. I hate the thought of leaving a negative review for something I barely read. Although I don't think I have given any books 5 stars this year yet lol

I’ve read stuff I have no business reading. I know going into it that I will hate it. I don’t leave reviews for those. I’ll straight up say I should not have read it and state my reasons why. But if it was marketed to my reading tastes and it’s junk writing. I will say so.

I agree with being able to leave negative reviews on platforms etc, but I do think if it’s under like 2/3 stars, the author shouldn’t be directly tagged in the post! Make the review, but you don’t need to direct the author to your negative words about it xx

I personally disagree with the reviews comment. I was told that when you leave a negative review (low stars) it doesn't matter to the company you bought it from but it does impact the author negatively so if the review is an opinion it's probably best unsaid on websites but perfectly okay to talk about on your platform etc where the author won't be directly affected. Hope that makes sense. I love your videos 😊 xx

No Regrets 😂 Also this has made me realise i 100% have an overconsumption problem with over 300 books on my tbr that I actually own 🙄 also made me consider turning my own wishlist off for this reason

I really REALY wanted to love this series. I loved fourth wing, that was recommended on TikTok, so when this series was all over my fyp I was excited. I felt for so long that maybe, because I’m a new reader, I was just at a low level of reading, or that it was something that I didn’t understand. It’s great to hear someone else who felt this way about this book. Also you do get LGBT representation at a really terrible attempt at a token bisexual arch in a main character that didn’t show anything that would even hint at until until the ‘big reveal’ right at the end of the 3rd book.

Completely agree with you - so trashy and toxic, I loved that and needed to know what happened next!! However, I was SO disappointed with the ending 😅 I couldn’t even remember who the hell the character was. I think because of this, the twist did not have me shocked or emotional. I think it’s because there were so many side characters which weren’t developed at all, they meant nothing to me😂 I’m still going to read the rest though🤩

I have the same attitude as you with this book, I'm wondering what the hype was about so I brought the first one but I got the original book cover as I don't like the covers with the legs and heels. I nearly brought the next book a couple days ago but stopped myself as I haven't even read the first one yet 😂

I think one of the best things about reading is when a book takes you completely by surprise amd tou end up absolutely loving it 😊 it's such a joy x

The main reason I've never picked this up was because her pink shoes clashed with the read backdrop 😂😂😂 I'm not very intrigued but is he referred to as BJ throughout the book as I'm not sure my childish immature brain can handle it 😂

Book 2 turns it all around, the first I found I just got through it cause of the hype but I was glad cause I loved the second and needed the info of the first🤣. I also think it should’ve been stopped at the third cause I’m not a big fan of the last two, it was a lot of pages for not much🤣
