Hi There, welcome aboard. We have found that it is always midnight at the port you are disembarking from. We are in Brisbane, so our upcoming Quantum cruise was midnight here, but our upcoming Ovation cruise out of Sydney was 11pm here at home (Midnight Sydney with daylight savings). It was the same for our Transpacific Cruise from Hawaii, it was midnight Hawaii/Honolulu time. Usually, the app and website take a few minutes to update, so it might be like 5 past the hour, and the app always seems a minute or two before the website. Hope this helps.

Great location.

Grab is very easy to use in Singapore, and usually do use the MRT a lot to get around because it is so cost effective. We have often stayed at Lavender in the past and this is just ever so slight closer in. It's a great location, we highly recommend it.

We had Economy Seat 42A & 42B on the way over to Singapore and then 42B & 42C on the way back. Good seats. Quick to get on and off the plane. It was one row behind the bulkhead so there were a couple of babies in flight capsules nearby but that weren't too noisy and settled well.

Brisbane is a "better than good" airport. Not great but certainly not bad by any stretch - apart from the bit of construction noise at the moment we are always comfortable there. Changi is a beast! Very efficient but VERY big. Enjoy your trip. Are you heading beyond Singapore?

@LizelleWraight Ut certainly can get quite humid and hot there. We have been there on some shockingly hot days. Luckily this one wasn't too bad.

Yeah we are keen to see what it's like compared to the others. From memory we have the plus package for them.

We don't think it goes off completely but may just be lowered to a low fan, we just love being cold and under the blankets lol

We have had obstructed ocean views a few times on Pacific Encounter. We dont mind them. Deck 8 is a very convenient deck to be located on.

True that is an option. Now someone fanning us while sitting on that massive deck would have been nice 🤣

We just finished on Anthem in Singapore last week. We will be back on her in October for her first 3 nighter when she arrives in Australia.

Hi Mark, The stalls at the ferry terminal all took AUD, USD and Franc. Many of the also had card facilities. So we used Aussie cash to pay for the Train and Google Pay at the patisserie.

Still a few restrictions in the outer area, apparently, but yes, we felt very, very safe.

Yes definitely. We were obviously travelling peak season and it was a longer cruise. But this balcony is so well protected from the weather that we used it ALOT. We would book this cabin again in in a heartbeat. It's important to remember though sometimes "worth the money" means different things to different people. For us it means different things depending on the cruise, ship, length of time, destinations and of course price difference between Interior, Ocean view and balcony etc

It is certainly a beautiful place. Glad we could get out and do something "easy" with our parents on this one, snorkelling at one of the smaller islands is definitely on the list for one of next visits.

Yep our home port is Brisbane. So a number of starts will be from here.

It certainly was a great experience actually sharing it with the whole family. And it was a spectacular day with them at Mystery Island too.

It certainly can be a challenge getting in there sometimes. Unfortunately, the announcements that were being made didn't always correlate to what we could see or were experiencing but that's ok, not every day can be a perfect one. It was still a beautiful day.

We watched rain dance around the island all day that day.

This wasn't a mini-suite. This was a straight up Balcony room. Our room on Splendor did have more desk space, but no lounge.

@debandmattchat every balcony and ocean view room I've ever had on splendor has had a lounge, i usually sleep on it as its better for my back

Hello, I'm sorry you had issues with the sound, not sure why. I just watched it again and had no audio issues so not sure what happened for you.

We feel the same love the sea days and we always say the ship is the destination as anything can happen with making it into ports

Oh really, we love the smell when you arrive in Bali but can't say i noticed that, definitely a good cabin though.
