Which bike did you enjoy better, the TW200 or XT250? I'm a short rider 5"5" 180lbs. The Tdub feels more planted, but I would like to ride at least 70mph. I've sat on both bikes on the showroom but have not rode either one yet. I've seen lots of videos of ppl taking XT250 for short highway sections. I need to be able to do at least 70 mph for 25 miles or less to get to more off-road bits. From reviews, it seems the XT250 is capable, but the TW200 seems more beginner dual sport friendly. Any thoughts having owned both?

Royal Enfield is the only motorcycle company that makes me wish I was a wealthy man so I can have one of every bike they make. But the mixed blessing is, I literally cannot decide which one to buy, and it's both frustrating and exhilarating. They don't make a single bike I would pass on.

Thanks for this video I just bought a 22 left-over, and yes, it was new . 5 miles on it . Or it was to wait for the new Himalayan which I dont want a computer driven bike . Im gonna do the cam and DNA air filter with a diffrent fuel management system . If it needs a little kick in its step then a big bore kit . Im not building mine to race but a very strong off road bike . But the bike has a great torque curve stock . Im probably gonna raise it 1 inch though . Im 6ft so reaching mother earth is not a big problem.... Yeah Im not a fan of these tires as well .

I sat on a Himalayan and man it’s one of the most comfortable bikes I’ve sat on! Super light, not too big, very comfortable seat. I’ve been looking at getting an adv bike too. My local dealership is giving a killer deal, 3700+taxes and feee, no markup, AND they include $700 worth of aftermarket parts!

YOUR CRANK NUT TORQUE SPECS ARE WRONG! It’s 70-80 nm (51-59 ft lbs NOT over 110 like you say it is! Page 13 of the service manual (free on ks motorcycles as a pdf to view) shows part 1 as the crank nut/rotor nut/flywheel nut (all the same thing). It says it’s a hex flange nut m12 X 1.25p X 11w Then to go page 69 and in the middle it shows magneto. It says the magneto rotor hex nut which is an m12 x 1.25p x 11w is 70-80nm torque. I could not find your torque specs anywhere in the manual or various Facebook groups, videos, or forum posts. Please backup where you got those numbers from if they contradict what I just said

I just did this on mine. I brute forced mine more than you. I forgot to remove the woodruff key. I used the impact on a 3 jaw flywheel puller because by hand is for nerds. Worked well. My flywheel came off with the puller so fast it fell hard into the concrete floor and uhhhhh my key is nowhere to be found. Yay. Bikes mint 😎 Time to JB weld it instead of a woodruff key (or go buy one at the auto store if they have em) lol
