Great tune ❤ good groove to dance to 🎉
Good taste in music
I sat on a Himalayan and man it’s one of the most comfortable bikes I’ve sat on! Super light, not too big, very comfortable seat. I’ve been looking at getting an adv bike too. My local dealership is giving a killer deal, 3700+taxes and feee, no markup, AND they include $700 worth of aftermarket parts!
thats insane where?
@@CoastlinesCollide CA
@@TruthSeeker9038 what was the out the door price? any chance in san diego?
@@CoastlinesCollide No, sorry it's the Royal Enfield in Brea! They have 2 for the same deal. Out the door I believe it was about $5500! I ended up getting a used 2022 with only 80 miles for only $3700 off of facebook marketplace.
@@TruthSeeker9038 i found the deal and called. yep right around around $5500. Im going to go with a local one for around 3k. cant justify spending almost double the money. and thats insane only 80 miles! How are you liking the bike?? no issues?
YOUR CRANK NUT TORQUE SPECS ARE WRONG! It’s 70-80 nm (51-59 ft lbs NOT over 110 like you say it is! Page 13 of the service manual (free on ks motorcycles as a pdf to view) shows part 1 as the crank nut/rotor nut/flywheel nut (all the same thing). It says it’s a hex flange nut m12 X 1.25p X 11w Then to go page 69 and in the middle it shows magneto. It says the magneto rotor hex nut which is an m12 x 1.25p x 11w is 70-80nm torque. I could not find your torque specs anywhere in the manual or various Facebook groups, videos, or forum posts. Please backup where you got those numbers from if they contradict what I just said
I just did this on mine. I brute forced mine more than you. I forgot to remove the woodruff key. I used the impact on a 3 jaw flywheel puller because by hand is for nerds. Worked well. My flywheel came off with the puller so fast it fell hard into the concrete floor and uhhhhh my key is nowhere to be found. Yay. Bikes mint 😎 Time to JB weld it instead of a woodruff key (or go buy one at the auto store if they have em) lol
dont own this bike but damn I love people like you just putting information out there like this. Comment and a +1 to help the algo
Love the video, and love my WR! Could you do a full walk around of your bike showing all the mods and trinkets you've added? I'm especially interested in the RSC lever and lighting you've got. Thank you!
Very informative! Thankyou, ❤❤❤❤
Super cool! might have to get one of those!
Titanium valves are much softer than steel….
Don’t want to hear the music. Exiting out
GREAT video! I'd like to add a layer of HDPE to the stock skid plate and see how long I can make it last, bouncing off rocks.
THEPIPESAREBROKEN
Why not just make the entire bike out of the Cycle Crate then? What is Big Enfield trying to hide from us?!?
Kick ass! Sorry to hear about the hit and run.
Hopefully you find a donor bike soon!
Man that sounds pretty screwed up. Glad you managed to make it home. Hope you heal up quick and the bike is not too badly damaged. Also hope find the idiot and they have insurance.
So far they hands gotten away with it.....
Helmets prevent head injuries. You're lucky.
Thank God I was wearing my Arai.
Why all the Harley hate? LOL
@calgreco8607 don't hate the harley hate the rider lol.
THE most overrated drive there is in these mountains. Off top of my head, I can think of a dozen better roads with less traffic, MORE curves and less cops. #overrated
its still fun to go there. bear mt nyc was sickk
It's not just the road. It's also the culture and the gathering. It's a cool place to go. It's almost like a rally everyday.
Just an amazing ride through one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
Man now I'm thinking of getting the 650 for the cycle crate business
I live in Applican trail this bike the WR250r will top anything.
Glad to hear! I’m in tri-cities, TN and looking for a small, lightweight bike to ride trails in the area. I think I’m sold on the wr250r!
If you are comfortable with 250s and 300cc dirt bikes do you still recommend the tuner?
got an ‘08 WR250X for like $2,000 cheaper than a Dr-zsm. Personally I love the seat heigh. im 6’ and it was about 34” with the aftermarket seat the previous owner put on.
That’s a completely different bike than what they are reviewing
Would you go for the new 450? I'm looking at it and the 411. The biggest selling point for me, they relocated the air filter to the highest point. The 411 is a few grand cheaper, and looks better imo.
I can't say yet lol. Waiting for a demo day. The stats on paper are tempting
@@80VDualSport you should try making a few more vids like the one where you're talking to your friend riding off road. There's another similar video like it online where two guy's got lost in some dense stuff. One had a Himalayan 411, one had a KLR650 and the Himalayan was clearly the better of the two. They had so many drops, clutches were burning up. I'll see if I can find the title
@@80VDualSport "Himalayan & KLR 650 What Not To Do" it's 5yrs old but a good video.
Anything can dual sport if you're brave enough!
when it said "ndakonuchipei", i really felt that
@@hunty92 hahahahahaha
@@80VDualSport klr650 guy here. bike’s still running great, thanks again for getting it back on the road! i’m still getting basically no interest in my triumph scrambler 1200 for sale… i don’t have any social media, any chance you could link the cycletrader listing in any local fb groups for me? or if you know literally anyone i could reach out to that knows people that like these kind of bikes? i need this thing GONE and haven’t had a single interested party lol. i hate to ask, but i genuinely don’t know what to do to get this thing gone. i’ve listed it online, called dealers, called friends, called family friends with big collections, and things are at a standstill 🤷♂️ i appreciate any help, and if you don’t have anything for me it’s all good, i appreciate you anyways! hope you’re doing alright!
and i’d love to come out on a ride sometime! is there a place i can stay in the loop that isn’t facebook? like maybe a discord or something?
Bike sales around here aren't doing well
@@80VDualSport yeah 😩 smh, times like this i wish i had let the old gay man that used to take me shopping and give me rides actually just make me his sugar baby. we did have fun at the boot store though, and i helped his mom quit smoking so maybe it was for the best HAHAHA
Haddalayerdown
Man you're not a red bull biker... Just walk the bike down....
Ive seen him do dumber stuff
"It comes in paints?!? I'm getting one." - Pippin
That line to the left looks gnarly. Nice climb
This hill is constantly changing and it's one of my favorite local challenges
I ride these exact roads on my drz400sm. I live like 7 minutes away.
penis
I go where they go from sport adventure to super cross but a little bit slower. Love my WR!
They are on a major sale right now end of model. Can get the Scram for 3,000 + fees 🤯
Hey, Love the video! I have a 2012 and am having the same issue you described with your corroded wire. Put in a new fuel pump, new spark plug, checked fuses and nothing seems to be working. I've never really dived into wiring stuff but do you have any advice on what/where to look for when trouble shooting this? The bike has always run great then one day just died out mid ride and wouldn't start back up. Thanks for any help!
Hello tehre again :) , i was courious about the reliability of the 411 himalayan , i saw your clips with it , i eknolaged what you said about the maintenance that in your case need to be more often because of your riding style and im courious for a normal rider , taking paved rouds unpaved rouds a little bit of offroading , moto camping on hte mountains top would you think this 411 will be a raliable bike? and also do you think it will face the challange to go on the mountain top with the camping gear on it ? i also heard about lots of issues with engine not starting in cold or frame broken , fort the last one do you think it is poorly build or the riders mounted on it aftermarket crashbars and not torque the bolts corectly? i know i have a lot of silly qwestions but as many good things i have heard about the 411 also i have heard lots of bad things about the building quallity and reliability , i would love to have the bike because its so acceseble to work on it but im concerned because of all the negative things i have heard about this bike and also about the all royal enfield bikes
