Beautiful DAY on the Lake had a few hours to spare he had caught a big one in this cove before tried that first a few bites but that’s it.. Hit the water caught a “dink” as we call em. Then spotted something we wanted to put eyes on, it was an old boat 🤣 Ended up scouting for a place to sit #hunting lots of Hog activity a very beautiful sit with open views 🤔 Good Love Date with the hubby #outdo...

A peak into this past weekends HUNT in the #upstatesc 🦌 My husband got a nice 8 point by boat it was a Beautiful sunrise & then the fog set in he was VERY careful coming in it was so thick he said . Me & the girls headed to the boat landing to pick him up, and DNR was there too VERY Nice & excited for my hubby as well…. I went right to the lazy man way and installed an ATV winch in my garage, no more hand cranking!! Now just gotta get a deer on it and try it out

Much easier head first and faster especially when you are doing by yourself. Have done both ways but when you go to cut the hams off you don’t have to worry about the gambrel tilting and a ham falling. Everyone that has watched me do it has switched to head first. A older gentleman that has long passed showed me and I have never looked back.

I prefer the old school method before gambrels were invented 😂. A older gentleman showed me many years ago how they use to do it with just a rope over a limb. I stuck with it and prefer it. Much easier to get the hams off when I’m quartering solo which is most of the time.
I think he means how you hung it by the beck and not the rear legs

Try dr. Bronners Castile soap, it's biodegradable plus great for your skin and smells great too! Love your set up! Love to have an outdoor shower lmaoo shit I'd kill for a home 😂😅
