Excellent video man! Random question, but is it possible to take this unit in a carry on luggage of a flight?

Author does not have enough experience with this pedal , to make such a bold statement whether it is good or not. RC500 has a lot of problems , that pop up pretty early during usage. BOSS has already aknowledge some of them , but patches are still not there, even this unit is like 3 years old. For instance , one issue i`m suffering a lot as an average and very basic user - rythm sliding while free measure. Thats very annoying and there are couple of solutions on the internet for years , how to put rythm back in sync while playing. All there solutions require to buy more pedals and literally "dance" on them during your play. Another total pain is that RC500 needs a lot of reconfiguration on the fly , so you have to have a trained back , to bend over each time you need to click a button or switch anything, and you will do this a lot, believe me. The solutions is to keep looper under your hands and to operate it with MIDI foot controller that costs another 100+ USD. There are other issues that are huge for other people , but i havent faced with them yet, so i would better be silent. The good news are that RC500 is very customisable and that studying manual and understanding how the unit works totally worth it. Bad news are that because of high customisation , there are always collission in the logic of the unit software and with these custom settings you are getting reall weird behavior really frequesntly , so you have too look on internet , hoping someone already figured out some workaround. Good\Bad news are , that there are no real competitors on the market in this nieshe , and you will be ending up with buying this unit anyway. I think the only competitor i remember is a Boomerang , which is really old, not so flexible , controls are much worse and it costs more then RC500 (at least when i was checking this).

If you want un-complicated and better sound, spend an extra $100 and get the Headrush MX5. I own both the Boss GT-1 and MX5, the MX5 is better in every way.

Please don't be fooled by videos like this. The product is horrible... the volume is absurdly low, especially when connected to a smartphone. The only possible way to hear something is if you either use the ear plugs, which kills the main objective, which is to hear music while having open ears to hear your surroundings, or if you connect directly to a Garmin watch for example, that has a louder volume limit. Do not waste your money, this is not a good product and you will be disappointed.

I plan to buy kobolibra color 2 and also use it for notetaking and answering pdf textbooks. Is it possible? I have a pdf textbook from school that I want to put on kobo libra 2. Then answer on my textbook using the ereader. I want to be able to seamlessly transfer the “answered pdf” from kobo to my pc or google drive because sometimes i have to submit them to my professor via email. Is it easy enough for kobo libra colour 2? Or nothing beats ipad?

Late to the party here but just wanted to compliment on a job well done! Best GT1 video on YT! I saw in one of your comments that you no longer have the unit. May I ask why you decided to get rid of it?

Boss got the balance spot on with this device, they are my favoured unit for sculpting guitar tones to die for, they can be used straight out of the box for beginners to noodle about with and are more than capable of producing tones that scare the shite outa brand amp purists, they can be used in chimp-mode or if the user is brave and knows how to sculpt and output via them they are virtual tone sorcery and ought to be kept under very strict lock and key security...I'm never selling or availing my parameter tweaks no matter the offer.

The reason for this opinion is simple. FitBit is an awful tracker. It doesn't extend your abilities. So it's quite fair to compare it to watch. If you try anything really good, like for example Samsung fit2\3 or any good watch, you'll not be able to go back to Casio. For example, fit 2\3 allows you to check messages with a single hand, and navigate via messages with single hand\dirty hands. Control your headset when your phone is in your pocket etc. And it counts literally everything more accurately than charge 5\6. You can use the Google Fit app or Samsung fit app (both are way better than FitBit software). And this is only one option. Literally half of the trackers on the market are way better than Chagre = Casio.

Somehow a lot of effects won't show up. I see no reverb, spring or such. I've tried resetting it to factory settings and I see it's using v3.0. v3.1 is the lastest, but it only fixes a USB issue. When it boots it shows Zoom MS50G Any idea to why a lot of effects are gone?

Hey Im a 25 year old guy with a pretty sedentary lifestyle... I do run occasionally and hike a bit but not nearly enough. Lately my life became more stressful and I gained some weight. I don't have a lot of money so I was really considering whether or not to buy a fitbit... I read somewhere you should really try to move consistently every day and I thought this could help... But I also suffer from anxiety so I thought maybe that's not such a good idea. What else could I do that would help me move consistently (apart from buying a fitness tracker)? I have had periods of working out but usually they stop after two weeks..
