I stumbled upon some old watercolor work hiding in the attic (along with oil paintings and drawings). That inspired me to go out and buy some new watercolor material. I thought it would be beneficial to record and talk about it.
I don't like using grid transfers or tracing. For me I don't find it beneficial for my journey. I strive to better understand what I see and how to represent that vision. If I skipped the drawing process, I would be missing a huge opportunity for growth.
I elected to paint the drawing because watercolor has such a unique way about it. I want to see all the marks that built the illusion.
