Просмотров 5312 года назад

This technique is for situations where the airway opening may be less than 3.0 - 4.0 mm (for example in laryngeal malignancy or following radiotherapy). The standard external diameter of most fibrescopes is 4.0 - 4.7 mm, and passing a scope that size through this critical narrowing wo...

I always let go of the skin without even thinking about it or forget to release the tourniquet 😑😑
My struggle is the retraction of the needle and pushing the plastic foreward
Mine too!!
For a pink cannula You only need to withdraw 1mm to get the second flashback. What that does is show you the cannula itself is in the vein (rather than just the needle tip, with the cannula itself still outside the vessel) If you get second flashback after withdrawing needle by 1mm, keep your traction on (very important!) and simply push the cannula off the needle. Needle stays in same position until cannula fully inserted, then pull it out. 😊
Very nice lecture I'm looking for the first lecture ,
Thanks! The other part of respiratory teaching is run in our department and isn’t yet recorded.
