У МГИ была совсем не такая атмосфера... (ИМХО) МГЧД ломал шаблоны, Петербург в нём был очень красочным и живым, эта была интересная история в шикарной обёртке и с реально неожиданными поворотами, взаимоотношения персонажей были продуманы и развивались очень реалистично, "злодей" не пустышка и тоже интересный перс; эта история познакомила меня с шикарным фд и подарила веру в то что российское кино может быть качественным ГТД был необычным и интригующим, с интересным взглядом на 90-е (глазами детей) и даже тут у бабл получилось меня удивить, а я, какой бы чёрствой не была, смогла проронить слезу, мне было жаль всех и я примерно понимала чувства "героев" и "злодеев"; эта история продолжила 1 фильм и рассказала предысторию гг, это было интересно Но МГИ... он не вызвал у меня никаких подобных эмоций... Игорь опять действовал в одиночку, Разумовского и его взаимоотношения с Волковым тупо слили, Сергей потерял ту невероятную харизму и стал напоминать нервного бомжа с поехавшей крышей; Олег вообще не понравился, у него был просто вайб *банутого серийного убийцы с тупыми шуточками; Хольт показался странным; Прокопенко был не похож на себя; Игорь раздражал, многовато алкоголя было и обе сцены с ним были неприятными; логика в некоторые моменты просто улетела в Марианскую впадину; только Дубин и Архипова были более-менее норм: эта история... разбила меня... я до сих пор помню как я вышла из кинотеатра в афиге и непонимании "это точно тот самый фильм про который все кричали что он ещё лучше 1?...", тогда ещё я не могла чётко сформулировать "что было не так", но когда вернулась домой и начала обсуждать этот фильм в чате с подружками из баблфд я заметила что мне не одной этот фильм показался странным и каким-то не таким... после тех пары часов обсуждений МГИ я была буквально разбита, я думала "может у меня с головой не всё в порядке, огромное кол-во людей чуть ли не готово глотки порвать крича как этот фильм офигенен, а мне он кажется таким себе..." ... мне понадобилось много времени чтобы потраться уменьшить значимость этого фандома и их фильмов в своём сердце дабы перестать и дальше закапывать себя и в итоге я пришла внушила себе мысль "всё нормально, тебе просто не понравился фильм, пофиг, ты ведь помнишь что вступила в этот фд ради всего этого веселого движа, прекрасного творчества, чудесных людей в фд и замечательных создателей, да? неважно если фильм не удался, зато тут можно весело провести время!" ... хах, иронично... буквально через неделю после этого в фд начал твориться трындец... в этот момент я окончательно сломалась... я сутки напролёт думала обо всём этом, пыталась найти оправдания, выдумать причины остаться, я хотела дать бабл ещё один шанс и как бы больно мне тогда не было от всего происходящего я старалась продолжать держаться за них и подбадривать/успокаивать других людей чтобы проблемы не разрасталась дальше... выходит подкаст "ответы на вопросы", я слышу все эти оправдания и чувствую себя уже пустой... я уже буквально ничего не понимаю... спустя некоторое время я поняла что они опять не услышали своих фанатов и просто сделали вид что МЫ всё не так поняли... у меня уже не было сил вообще ни на что, я чувствовала себя втоптанной в грязь из непонимания и сумасшествия, но почему-то я всё равно продолжала держаться за этот фд, чем ёщё больше разрушала себя.... пока однажды не решилась отписаться от всех их каналов (кроме некоторых актёров) и отпустить это всё.. было сложно но со временем я свыклась с их отсутствием в моей жизни, но неприятный осадочек остался и потому я старалась избегать даже видео от фанатов бабл, лишь изредка их смотря Это была моя история о том как я благодаря офигенному фильму нашла удивительный фандом с чудесными людьми, весело проводила в нём время и пыталась влиться в это сообщество но посему-то часто всё равно бывало чувствовала себя чужой там, а также о том как слишком большое зацикливание на чём-то может сильно вам навредить и уничтожать вас изнутри. Сейчас я уже не хочу находиться в этом фд и я рада что ушла из него, но несмотря на всё это... я благодарна тем хорошим людям что мне повстречались в нём за те добрые слова что я слышала когда в моей реальной жизни были проблемы и отчасти я благодарна Bubble за МГЧД (этот фильм был реально красивым) и за то что благодаря ним я встретила тех самых людей... честно говоря, у меня сейчас очень смешанные и непонятные эмоции по отношению ко всему этому, но всё же я надеюсь что больше я в этот фд не вернусь и что я смогу наконец-таки полностью отпустить всё это... Всем.. Добра.. **я раньше часто так писала в конце комментариев на каналах этого фд, в каком-то смысле для меня это сейчас как официальное прощание со всем что было раньше и с этим фд** [простите за многобукв, в большинстве своём это нужно именно мне, я хотела просто выговориться обо всём этом...] Автор, у вас получилось красивое видео, желаю вам удачи в ваших любимых делах и отсутствия проблем с психикой :)

Great job with the edit. He's my favorite Bridgerton. Out of all the lead males, he's the one that had to change the least & was a natural romantic. Even though I can relate to Penelope being a shy wallflower, I am more like Colin. So much, that if my mom was alive, then she probably would've given me the same speech as Violet (minus the Pen engagement part). 😊

He is stunningly beautiful

His character is heartbreaking and entirely logical of the people pleasing. With the brothels and things in season 3, it totally make sense. After so much people pleasing when people are there, you can start to adjust your private lifestyle to their expectations as well. Even though they would technically never know if he didn't go to brothels - he could even just make up the stories. But he felt like he *should*, so in a way, it was just an extension of meeting their wishes/demands.

People want complex characters in bridgerton yet they couldn't understand this guy.

Just because he wasn’t aware of Penelope’s feelings for him, doesn’t mean he wasn’t aware of Penelope herself. He cares so much about so many, and he deserves to be happy. It’s half of what makes Polin so very appealing. Him finally realizing he has loved Penelope the whole time is so satisfying. I love their love. 💖💙

That’s why I said people should re-watch the show from season 1 to see him grow!! He has grown from a boy to a man that he thinks the society wanted him to be. He lost sense of who he is and try to live to others’ expectation. People said he hasn’t suffered, they are wrong. He suffered from Marina from season 1. He’s still heartbreaking in season 2. He starts to open up again in season 3 and it’s at the same time that Penelope starts to find herself a husband. The timing is right, and they’re ready for each other, so that’s why their relationship works in s3. Their relationship isn’t rushed because it has been built up since day one that we know them. Long game indeed.

Colin is the best. Benedict is a close second.

Colin is sensitive, caring and sweet. I absolutly love his caracter and I really enjoyed seeing him listen to his heart this last season even though it's not what society expected him to do. I must add that I love the scene between him and Violet before the last ball : I like her way of sharing her point of view to help her son. Thank you for this tribute. 💙

I love it! Especially seeing all of the things Violet spoke about him being sensitive, wearing armor and wanting to please others. He lost himself in trying to be what society wanted him to be. His armor came off when he was around Penelope. She accepted him for who he truly is and finally he saw exactly who he wanted to be. And who better to spend his life with than the one who truly accepts and loves him without question. Thanks for uploading.

Beautiful edit. "You are a child" or "you are still a boy" are some of the reasons of this armor. And many others like when he is back from Greece and Ben makes fun of his beard, when Anthony "scolds" him for taking the money to invest in the mines (which he was doing to find out the scam), when Anthony says that Colin proposed to Marina because inexperienced and because he wasn't brought in brothels, when everyone in season 2 dismissed him when he tried to tell about his travels.... Colin is the true hopeless romantic, and society ridiculed him for that.

I think that he's starting to realize that he doesn't need the armor around Penelope that she accepts him the way he is and that she just expects honesty and respect from him and I think that when he finds out that she's Lady Whistledown I think that he'll be angry at first but then he'll become jealous because she found a purpose for her life and one that makes money and then he'll most likely accept it because he won't want to risk losing her and his love for her will be stronger than his anger toward her for being Lady Whistledown

I’m sick to my stomach omg 😭😭 I’m so emotional and sick about this. His character feels so real…Colin, get behind me!!!! He’s patronized like a child, he mirrors those he views as men, he feels unfulfilled and pressured. I’ll never forget Anthony telling him to wet his wick first before humouring the idea of marriage. Hyper-sexuality seems the only way to be taken seriously. He’s just a lover boy and his fantasies literally are just running to the girl he loves in a dark garden.

I got the reason for the brothel scene in ep 4 but not ep 2. I think in my head, I thought this was a chance to have a virgin romantic lead so was a bit disappointed but at least Colin has recognised sex and making love are two different things and he needs the feelings
