NRS was born in 1972 when Bill Parks, an idealistic college professor and avid river runner, set out to prove that the principles he taught in the classroom could work in the real world. Bill believed that business could be about more than making a profit-that it could be a source of value and satisfaction for its employees and the communities it serves, and a force for good in the world. The foundation of NRS Fishing is built on those same values of amazing customer service and ultimate utility in our products.

Approach Series Raft

Lightweight and easy to transport, the Approach redefines the limits of where a boat can take you. Constructed with durable welded PVC, it can handle the abrasion of shallow streams and overgrown banks. A combination of 16-inch tubes and a thick drop stitch insert floor enhances buoyancy, letting the Approach draft in really skinny water, opening access to more remote waters other boats can’t r...
The Adventure Angler Anthem
Просмотров 99411 месяцев назад
Adventure, by definition, is an exciting or remarkable experience, and yet the idea of adventure is subjective. To some, adventure needs risk and danger, suffering and sacrifice. To others, it’s as simple as exploring a new place or putting in a little extra work to reap the rewards. To be an angler, one just has to fish. To be an adventure angler, the focus is on the journey rather than how ma...
The Holy Grail of Saltwater Fishing
Просмотров 317Год назад
For some, the Bahamas may seem like a cliché tropical destination. Visited by many, skipped by few. But for adventure anglers looking to challenge their cast against the Gray Ghost, the Bahamas becomes a bucket list adventure. To catch a bonefish, an angler first has to see it. Then one must make a precision cast and work the fly perfectly in order not to spook the fish. If any part of the equa...
Little Mossy Ship: Readings Along the John Day River
Просмотров 602Год назад
“Many of us would probably be better fishermen if we did not spend so much time watching and waiting for the world to become perfect.” For many anglers, the driving force is the catch. However, there is a subspecies we like to call the "Adventure Angler." For them, the catch is a welcomed moment of elation along the greater journey. Borrowing from the classic words of Norman Maclean, Edward Abb...
Slipstream Rafts: Don't Picture It, Fish It
Просмотров 4,6 тыс.Год назад
Any day with a flyrod in hand is a good day. But what if you could float waters few boats have access to? Wade streams few anglers have stepped in. Present flies to unsuspecting fish. Picture it. Purpose-built for adventure anglers, Slipstream Rafts feature a streamlined design to eliminate catch points and high-pressure drop-stitch floors with EVA foam decking for stable footing whether you’re...
Quick Tips with Jameson Redding: Boat Position
Просмотров 85Год назад
When the wind and current take control of your boat mid-cast, having a few tricks to maintain boat position is clutch. You may not view your rod and kayak paddle as multipurpose tools, but if you use either of them a little differently than they're designed for, you might be surprised at the outcome (ahem, more fish 🎣).
Quick Tips with Jameson Redding: Wearing Your PFD
Просмотров 56Год назад
We can't say it enough: The best PFD is the one you will wear. But it's fair to say, if it ain't comfy, you won't wear it. And if the PFD isn't fit properly, it's not going to be comfy... In this quick tip, Jameson Redding shows anglers how to properly fit a PFD for comfort and safety. Find your next favorite PFD on www.nrs.com/.
Quick Tips with Jameson Redding: Kayak Organization
Просмотров 181Год назад
Organization Efficiency = More Casts / More Casts = More Fish 🎣 The math is simple but the organization part might not be. Taking us from his bow hatch to his Blackpak and everything in between, Jameson Redding shows us how he sets up his kayak for success on the water.
Quick Tips with Jameson Redding: Boat Ramp Etiquette
Просмотров 175Год назад
Proper etiquette at the boat ramp? It all goes back to the Golden Rule we learned in pre-school: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Seems simple, but raise your hand if you've ever had a day on the water delayed-or downright ruined-by that jackass at the boat ramp. ✋🏼✋🏾 ✋🏿 ✋ Don't be that jackass. Learn the tricks of the trade from Jameson Redding.

I’m buying the 142 with row package! I am from Idaho but now live in north Montana now. Do you have a dealer in Montana? I can drive down to Missoula. I just don’t want to drive all the way to Boise.
Nice looking raft but it has some short comings. 1.) The tackle tray on the side of the seats should have integrated cup holders. 2.) There should be 2 rod holders on each side of the boat. 2 anglers = 4 rods are usually taken with. 3.) There should be an option for 3rd seat for 3 anglers (similary to Flycraft Stealth X) 4.) It's too narrow. It should be 54-56" wide.
Dang I'm a guide in Montana and bought the Slipstream 120. I wish I waited for the other sizes to come out. I feel like the 129 would be just a bit better than the 120 on the first Gen.
I have an NRS Otter 14ft raft. Are the air vents supposed to be in the back? Does it make a difference which direction the raft if facing?
$4,995.00 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Need one of these, when are the rowers packages going to be available? They're currently available for backorder.
Nice! Looking forward to rowing one of these. Love the Slipstream 96 for the tighter rivers I guide. Nice work NRS!

Everything the Flycraft wishes it could be...
????????
😊
This is a special story. Thank you for your service and thank you for sharing your perspective on living.
Hey NRS team! Where’s the best place to mount a hard cooler on the 120? Directly behind the front seat or replace the rowers seat with a cooler/pad? Thanks in advance!
What roof rack was that ?
We had that custom built for our Bronco II.
I am stoked to go out and find an adventure this winter!
ADVENTURE ANGLER FOR LIFE!! I miss that pink hair AND can't wait for more salmon fishing 🎣💕
Nothing short of epic. Thank you for allowing me to tell my story and chase adventure with you!
Sweet raft, definitely on the wish list! What is that rooftop rod holder she's placing the rod into on the truck after the trip?
Hi
They should lose their sponsorship AND their guide license. These two are horrible people. Trying to kick minorities off the river. Picking fights. They don’t deserve to be outdoors professionals. (Have videos to prove it)
One of the BEST guides out in the Keys! shout out to Randy
❤
❤
Can you mount a small motor on it with your motor mount?
Hello! At this time our current motor mount options are not compatible with the internal anchor system featured on this package
...And she can row! Hold on to that one.
What more could a man want? This is the life.
For those of us who have to dissemble it each time we're done for the day it would be nice if it was less time consuming to assemble. I thought the chairs at least would have a "snap on" feature after their base was bolted to the frame. Less bolting stuff together and more snapping into place would be nice. Still a nice looking raft.
That looks like a whole lot of fun. You both look very happy, nice one!
good show hope it grows well
Any videos of it on the water?
What size raft is in this video??
Great video Josiah. Stay the course and never give up.
You must give some explanation to your wife 🤣🤣🤣🤣
First class video. Been fishing with Randy several times and he always finds the fish. Plus he's a hellva nice guy.
Randy, great job with this, thank you - Al Neves, looking forward to fishing the keys with your help and guidance.
Thx Al!
Well done!
I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this video with my friends and excellent fellow anglers Brooks and Jameson! What a fantastic job of editing by Brooks Beatty!
The first mention of the "Anchor Mast" in this video is the "Remote Bracket" in the instruction manual, while the control system is actually the anchor mast. I think. And hope. Couldn't seem to figure out why when I dropped anchor it landed in the floor of my boat.
Awesome shots and edits,,Randy is a top notch guide.
Thanks Ricky!
What a cool video on fly fishing the flats and a local guides viewpoint on riding out Hurricane Irma and it’s impact on this gorgeous world class fishery. Nice work landing those tarpon and bonefish!
I gotta get one of these.
Those look like super stable boards! Just started fishing/filming on my SUP!
