Nice easy trail with scenery. Where is it and what state? You really should add narration to your videos and keep the camera pointing forward. You'll attract more views and subs if you do this.
I have the exact same Dodge 2500 Ram. I want to be able to close the tailgate. Is there a Camper that allows me to do that?
In the Soaring Eagle line the 5.0 should work with the tail gate closed. Every other camper we looked at was bigger and heavier and because we tow the weight of the camper was a consideration. We were disappointed we could not close the tailgate but it seems to work okay.
Enjoyed watching this video, you guys are hilarious 😂 thanks 🙏🏾
Hi! Thanks for the details! How does it handle on your truck and impact on mpgs and total payload
The truck handles it really well. I thought we would need Timbrens and we did not. As far as payload we took the truck to be weighted before we did our camper research. We chose this camper because it worked with our payload with extra room for loading, etc. I can't really speak on the mileage because we are always towing. I'm sure we lost a few miles. Thanks for watching!
SuperATV is overrated and overpriced! Glass windshields are the way to go!
that's a shame you scratched it with that strap, I transported my trail s with that windshield on. It never had a problem flipping up, I think it's a bad design they should not have that lower plexiglass piece. It's kind of flimsy, I think the upper windshield should've been longer and closeat the hood with a similar latch. I had a hard time unlatching mine also and pulling it down. I took it off and it's sitting in my garage more wasted money.
You should list it for sale. I'm sure it will sell.
Wow if they just wouldn’t have quit sending printed directions with pictures. Glad you got it done.
Ed, just watched your video I feel your frustration. I owned an auto repair shop for over 35 years always very disappointing when you get a job done and find out the new part is bad. Number two a few years ago I installed those windshields on both our 2015 RZR’s and at that time they came with paper instructions and most important pictures. I did notice the bottom piece is different design and attaching brackets are different then on the 2015’s. Hope you had a great ride keep those videos a coming.
too bad I didn't live closer to you. I would've gave you my flip up windshield. I am removing a lot of the stuff on my trail S. I have too much stuff on it, I also took off the plastic roof. My son-in-law put the windshield on for me. I put the plastic roof on backwards and was getting mad wondering why the holes didn't line up with the roll cage. But I got it on and drove over to their house and my grandson noticed immediately that I had the roof on backwards so I decided not to try to put the windscreen on.
What is the run time under load with a full tank of gasoline?
I've got the same unit and i usually get about 4-4:30 hours at about 50% load.
Have one of these and its not loud at all. Very good generator at a great price
Have a 7 pin outlet, installed in the side of your bed, so your cord isn't having to reach the one, by your hitch. I would remove the tailgate when hauling the camper. Congratulations!!
Nice truck! Out west Diesel's outsell gassers 5 to 1 on average! I can't imagine hills in New England being on par with the hills in Utah! No offense. Congratulations! I enjoy your videos!
loud has helllll🤔🤔 this is not a good buy.
That thing sounds pretty darn loud
Well when it was between me the mic it did, but honestly it really isn't
Shorten up your rubber stoppers that are against cab and you will probably be able to close your tail gate.
We looked at that and we decided it wouldn't work. 🤷
Curious how you got on the trail going north of the lodge. We usually start at Grattan singer and go to the lodge. But then turn around since we’re not sure where the trail goes north or how to get on it as it looks like road.
Directly across the street it does look like a gravel road but that is the trail
It is directly across the street. From the lodge it looks like a gravel road but it actually is the trail
Nice trailer !
Happy trails from Oregon ! 😊
Just purchased the same one. Been running the 1250 since 2018. Upgraded from a pop up to a travel trailer so needed the extra amperage. So far so good
You can purchase locking pins for the other end of the hitch also.
Just back that thing up😉
Hello Like your video -- How do u attach to truck/camper tie downs
There are tie downs that are attached to the camper that you put down onto the hooks in the bed of your truck. There's no drilling. There's no mess. There's no fuss. It's very easy. Very convenient and so far it appears to be very secure. It's very easy on easy off
Yep that road is bad, can’t believe it is a township road in the ten plus years I have been riding up there they have not even put 1 load of stone on that road.
Do many people drive that road? We saw one house with a truck.
@@mudhawk7353 I have only ever passed 1 car the times I have been on that road.
Approximately $300. for the box . Im putting in 50 cal ammo box mounted on the bed on each of the cargo box
Do you have communication between the two machines ? 👍
Yes, walkie talkies. Ed is not convinced this is a good thing...😂😂
@@mudhawk7353 😄 ! ! !
Enjoyed the ride with you . Happy trails from Ore. ! 😊
Thank you for watching
Keep posting ! 😊
I will!
I think my wife & I run the same machines. You must have around a 20 ft trailer for both rigs. Thanks for posting 👍😊
Close we have an 18 ft but in retrospect I wish we had gotten a 20 ft. Thanks for watching!
Great camera work very well done, thanks for posting
Thank you for watching
Where I used live in the white mountains we had this bridge that went over the main road I just loved that and would stand up and look off every time like a little kid
Sounds like a very nice memory. Thank you for sharing
Old railway tunnel circa 1870's 1900's
Built in 1802
Old world structure, we inherited all the architecture. We did not build it.
"you're an idiot"
I would not be going through abandoned tunnels in the USA without a Geiger counter. Some of these tunnels were abandoned for a good reason
Hence the goddamn deep tire tracks running through them..
This tunnel was built by the Tartarians. Check into them. They built all the cool stuff.
😂
Is that the John Henry tunnel?! Is the statute of him nearby?
I have no clue, sorry
Where?
Chicken 😂😂😂
Thank God not another Bigfoot video
He was on the machine behind us!
Scary! 👻
Awesome 👌
The nervous laugh 😂
Some things on this planet should be left alone!
Turn your lights on and film. It show us all.
Our lights were on lol
Glad you are enjoying SSRT, been riding there for 15 years and I am still impressed at how that railroad was built with back breaking labor and no power equipment. Keep the videos coming and thanks for posting
Thanks Dave. I actually reached out to you. Hoping to talk with you. Check your latest ssrt post. I attached my email address to it
@@mudhawk7353 Man I am really sorry I can’t find your comment. I am always more than willing to talk ATVing.
have fun on your first adventure with your new camper, be careful when you exit that camper. That first step is a doozy.
Trust me I am. We bought a ladder that has steps and so far it's working well. I'm going to do a longer video and you will see it.
good job. I've been looking for a small trailer for my farm.
Glad I could help
Happy trails from Grant's Pass, Oregon Thanks for posting !
Our pleasure!
