Wish you were close by or I could fix my own aid, I'm tired of my audiologist ruining it every time I tell him to fix it, right now low frequencies are so loud and painful and irritating and robotic sounding even with the volume decreased and I can barely the high frequencies unless I increase the volume too much but then the lower frequencies would rip my ear apart... And I can't stand hearing people talk or even my own voice sometimes as it is.
Thanks so much for this video! I was looking for tips for fitting and this gave me a lot of great ideas and how to look at certain problems and analyzing what frequency range and dB levels are being effected and go from there. All the best and take care!
Psychophysics is a threshold test for the smallest amount of stimuli. This goes Way beyond audiology where it could be talking about smell, food, pain. It's the smallest amount of stimuli that can be used for the patient to feel it
The example here shows the patient wearing headphones which needs a gap of 40 decibels. Inserts require a gap of 70 decibels for masking air scores. Sorry for that mistake
Please, for bluetooth communication with smartphone for exemple, signia nx13 it's only compatible with iphone or can it's operationnal with android smartphones ?
Wow my daughter was diagnosed with an auditory processing delay and I have never been able to fully understand it. Thank you so very much for sharing this breakdown .
Hi, dear customer service manager SIEMENS company, I hope this message finds you well and safe! I am a client who has bought three Siemens hearing aids from Fann Azarakhsh Company, a Siemens representative in Iran. Due to the absence of responsibility and lack of assistance to clients after the warranty period in the service, this agency uses low-quality parts and finally declares that it can not be repaired and has to buy a new hearing aid. Please help this client. Thanks in advance, Sirous Faeghi
I would just like to say how much I appreciate your videos! I wish I had found them sooner. I'm about to take my written exam and was still confused on those who need a Cochlear Implant and those who need a BAHA. You just cleared that up! Thank you so much!!!
Hi, thanks for this tutorial, really informative. Umm is there a way to directly determine this 'sweet spot' of masking? Is there a formula or would you suggest going this way to ensure that there's no under or over masking? Thank you :D
