Back in the late 80's and early 90's I had such a crush on Kelly and went to every concert I could and even kept a picture of her pinned to my old dashboard of my Bonneville and it made my girlfriend so jealous. I even met her once after a concert and I was a bumbling idiot but she just chuckled and smiled. She is still just as beautiful and can still make my heart skip a beat and at my age that could be good and bad.

I began researching my ancestry in 2020. I had always known my grandmother was from shelton Laurel. About a uear in i discovered my third great grandfather james shelton, 1827-1864, perished in the massacre. Was never discussed

My relative was Lewis Shelton, he was married to Nancy Gladden. Their daughter Elizabeth married Harris Standley. Harris and Elizabeth left Shelton Laurel and eventually crossed the plains to Mendocino County, California. Harris lived to the ripe age of 115. His wife Elizabeth died in 1909. Their descendants are my great grandparents.

Licensing income from music placement is becoming really competitive & crazy. Bands are giving away for promotional use more & more & only getting their BMI/ASCAP money. Some places that are booking the placements want to get a cut on your publishing. As the media advancement that has dissolved a lot of the fiscal viability in the music industry continues to decay the income in films/televisions/gaming this money stream is going to be drying up as well.
