The Breast Conversation on Mammograms with Dr. Robyn Roth: Friends of Franz Podcast S3 E24
According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer remains to be the most common cancer, excluding skin cancers, and accounts for the second leading cause of cancer death, following lung cancer, in women across the nation. Yet, despite these staggering statistics, a Current Oncology commentary from Harvard Medical School states that misinformation believed by the general population within the domain of breast health remains at large, especially when it comes to breast cancer screening. In this episode, we seek to tackle these questions that surround breast cancer screening and detection: What is the BRCA gene, and how does it relate to breast cancer? What are the risk factors for bre...

Did you know that, according to the National Institute of Aging, if we stretched out our arteries, veins, and capillaries as adults, they would measure around 100,000 miles? This means that our blood vessels could circle the globe four times, given that the earth's circumference is about 25,000 miles! The human vasculature is truly an intricate system that literally supplies us with blood (with...

Just in case he doesn't reply I will you can do a ASN or a BSN so 2 or 4 years nursing school and then if your in a more rural setting you can immediately start working on a cardiac floor or bigger hospitals they have residencies/fellowships which can be between a few months to a year so quickest path is about 2 years and a half years

@@KhizerHayyat-si9uu no for the BSN which is the 4 year school it's really only important if you are planning on going into something more administrative like Nursing supervisor or educator the ASN is efficient enough to get your RN and with the RN you can do the additional residency to go into cardiology

If I ever need open heart surgery, God forbid, I am going to need significantly increased pain control before even thinking about moving out of bed. Picture the walking zombies cities around the country on fentanyl. That’s about the condition I would need to be in. Just the curious thing I’ve been thinking about, and what year in your training do they start, teaching or conditioning use to be desensitized to the pain that you have to cause patients?

Hello! Im not sure if you still answer questions about your time on Hunter on this video anymore but I have one concern accepting my offer to Hunter. If I am unable to get in Hunter’s official nursing program and not in the top 100, what do I then? Will I have to transfer out and choose a different major/ school since I wasn’t accepted to the nursing program? Is there an unofficial nursing program in Hunter that allows me to complete my nursing bachelorette’s degree at Hunter without this program? I’m not sure if I can truly achieve a 3.5+ gpa and if I’m unable to, can I still pursue nursing in Hunter within four years? I’m just concerned with doing well is all :,)
