Where is the approach from today, June 3?
Today it is from the East. I'm not sure of any good places from that side right now. I am going to try to find a spot to see it land today. By the way, there is a free app/website called flightradar24 that lets you see all the planes in the sky at any given time, and this is a great way to see which way the planes are coming into O'Hare. There is an app for your phone/tablet and a website too!

Where are you parking to see this?
Off of York Road on the west side of O’Hare. 350 N. York Road, Bensenville. Right next to the big gray and white building. Any spot or street over there is a great place to see the planes land. On the day I shot this video, the planes were coming into O’Hare from the west, which is why they flew right over head.

While you are right in that the original piece has a much slower tempo marking, this specific arrangement is intended to be played much faster. The tempo marking for this arrangement is quarter=192-200. We didn't even play it at that tempo. I did however make it to the restroom in time!
