This is James Cottam's RUclips Drawing Channel. This is my drawing channel. My name is James Cottam and all of the drawings on this channel are by me. When I was pre-school age I had a drawing toy thing called an Etch A Sketch. I used to draw a lot as a child. Drawing was my main hobby. Sometimes I would draw for an hour or so when I got home from school. Drawing was one of my main hobbies. I took drawing back up again in my 30s. I hope to become a famous drawer!. I hope you like my drawings!.
11th of November 2024 Side Profile Drawing
This is a Side Profile Drawing from today. It is a black and white Side Profile Drawing. The eye in this Side Profile is slightly different than previous eyes in previous similar drawings. It is more like a cat's or an animals' eye. This is a type of purposeful artistic feature.

That’s cool
Okay cool I think this a animation 😅👍

rock on bro
400 videos on my drawing channel!.
In the background there are two slope lines. These are non meeting on purpose. They are two different slopes.
This is the 400th video drawing on my drawing channel.
beautiful! i love this one
That landscape needs to see a lawnmower!. It's grass is long!.
The person is wearing a roll neck jumper.
That’s cool!
I have no idea why youtube suggested this video to me, but, nice work bro. Good luck out there!

This is the 302nd video on this drawing channel!. I now have over 300 videos!. Thanks for your views and positive comments and likes.
A house I could eat!. A lot of cheese!.
This house is called "Stilton Sanctuary". It is made out of Stilton cheese.
The hill in the background looks like it has a bit of the ridgeline missing. It doesn't!. The hand drawn original sketch has a complete ridgeline. The video has cut a bit of the ridgeline off accidentally!. The missing part is an upward pointing nodule on the ridgeline that the video has cut off, making it look like the ridgeline is incomplete!.
The things near the chimney are long rocks, not smoke trails from the chimney. The row of rocks forms a partial boundary around the garden area of the Rock Residence.
It reminds me of the artstyle of the yellow submarine 😁
Just wanted to say I love the shapes, and you’ve inspired me with your work
This is the 200th video I have posted on my drawing channel. What a great number to get to!.
cool
Masterpiece
It's a really nice art style! Very expressive.
Very cool drawing, i like stylised art!!
The person's shoulder is visible. The shoulder is the line near the bottom of the drawing.
Blood pouring out from chin 😳
Cute
The guy in this drawing has quite big ears!. The line to the side of the guy's neck is the line of the shoulder of the guy. This drawing deliberately shows a quarter of the guy's face.
hello
It's actually really nice to look at
Landscape drawings have always been one of my main areas. I used to focus only on landscape drawings when I drew when I was a child. Now, as an adult, I have several different areas that I focus on. But I hope to bring back my focus on landscape drawings.
Like the bloodshot eye effect.
Technically this drawing would be incorrect in real life. The visible tear duct may not visible in real life from a side profile view in the case of a normal human. This error was accidental!. It was a case of absent minded drawing. I use my artistic intuition and creativity to draw. I only draw a generic likeness. I forgot that the tear duct may not visible from a side profile view in a normal human. I have decided to re-conceptualise the drawings as works showing a type of humanoid that has tear ducts that can be seen from a side profile view. I will still create a few of this type of drawing in future. But I label them as drawings of humanoids that have tear ducts that can be seen from a side profile view. And I also have decided to keep these drawings with incorrect tear duct locations for another reason. They are good works of art. They look good visually. So aesthetically I view them as still valid from a visual artistic sense. They may not be totally physically reflective, but they look good. So I have decided to keep them. Art is art. If it looks good, keep it. But in future I'll remember not to draw tear ducts in the wrong place. But, I will also do a few more drawings of humanoids that have tear ducts that can be viewed from a side profile view. But I will label these. I'd better remember not to draw tear ducts in the wrong place next time!. It's a case of absent-minded art!. It may not be physically reflective, but it looks okay.

This type of drawing is done via creative imagination. Because it is a fictional drawing with a fictional character in it it relies on fantasy and creativity. It does not represent in totality the dynamics of a true human head and face. I noticed after I drew some of my side profiles that I had accidentally put the tear duct into some of the side profiles. In the real world a side profile view of a human from the side would not usually show the tear duct. The tear duct would not be visible. But I drew this in a spirit of imaginative and creative fantasy. It was not meant to represent in actuality all the parts of a human face. So I have re-conceptualised the side profile drawings where the tear duct is visible. I have labelled them as drawings that show a type of fantasy species of human that have eye and tear duct dynamics that mean their tear ducts are visible from a side profile view. The different facial and tear duct dynamics of these fantasy humans mean that when they are viewed from the side their tear ducts can be seen. This re-conceptualisation means that the drawings are still valid. But real life representation was never the goal with these drawings. It was simply to create a great drawing of human face. Regardless of the tear duct position, these drawings are still nice examples of a side profile of a human like face. My re-conceptualisation of the humans in these drawings as humans with different tear duct positions (And eye dynamics.) means that the drawings can still called loosely valid. Next time I'll remember to check the dynamics of a real human face before I start to creatively draw a fictional side profile of human. NOTE: This comment only applies to side profile drawings it appears beneath. Other side profile drawings may have different conceptualisations of tear duct and facial dynamics.
