Outside of the excessive trick plays I think TC called a decent game. Leaned on his running game while keeping the defense honest with the pass, qb still completed 60 percent of his passes which every school in the SWAC outside of 2 would love to have in their QB1. It’s still some things on the back end that need to be cleaned up or jsu may need to consider an upgrade from coach Mario

Mulligan should have been getting the ball every first down running up the middle and we should have had a better vertical attack. We got to do better with turnovers.

JSU play calling kept famu in the game. I think the drive Morgan fumbles and the other turnover when jsu was driving in the second half were chances for JSU to pull away earlier. FAMU has a very tenacious defense and JSU defense saved it. TC tried to do too much… I hope he learns from this game.

We tried to give this game away. We made things too complicated. We need to use Terel outside and out of the backfield. Running up him up the middle wasn't working. We should have just kept banging with Irv. I question some of the gadget plays we called and some of the plays we called just before FG attempts. That play was definitely PI. I was across the field by the cheerleaders and it looked like he got Jersey or shoulder pad. Looking at the clips now, it's a lot harder to see. We got a few bad spots. In real time that personal foul penalty where we hit the QB after the slide looked a lot more obvious
