Is Peter Beattie able to ignore the fact that he (from the examples he brings up) is from a probably academical leftist ”team”? That there actually eg. might be bad as well as good things connected with large immigrations? Is he(you, Peter if you read) able to distance himself from that side of the playfield?

While there are people in the world in control of large financial sums who do unsavory things, the view that money itself is an evil oppressive power over others is a very narrow pessimistic view. I know plenty of good people who worked hard at creating a vision, building a business, created awesome jobs for a lot of people, and opportunity to co-create a better world for everyone. It’s up to us as human beings to create a culture of value so we breed good stewards of opportunity and creation. Marx ideas always sound sensible on the surface, but once they are played out with real societies and individuals, it turns out we are much more complex creatures than Marxist ideologies account for. They’ve always played out very awful for every country that has gone down such path.

You mean to say America, not China, is the master of debt trap diplomacy? Actually, people with modest intelligence already knew that, despite the massive smokescreen of anti-Chinese propaganda polluting the atmosphere. What's most interesting to contemplate is the scenario in which America's misdeeds come back to haunt 4 or 5 generations of Caucasians who thought their supremacy would last forever. We watch "the West" descend into irrelevancy. We watch western insouciance and arrogance turn into fear, uncertainty and mass incompetence.

The "Mechanics" of The U.S. going CBDC are normal. Decrease the Fiat, paper, dollar(tangible currency) Paper and CBDC in dual circulation would cause outrageous Inflation! Treasury's, such as I-Bonds have existed for decades! Banks and Investment Houses have gone Digital! The U.S. is in transition! I mean an Economic practice is shifting from Fed. Wire in the 1970-1980s to another "system" and now it's going totally digital.

The United States through the dollar has extended credit two Nations and peoples that needed finance to do important projects to help their people some people do not recognize how important this is Biden included because he sucked into the Soviet Union and made everybody afraid that they might not have this finance in the future anyhow. We need to have a strong free system so that our political people don't steal all the money and put it to people that they particularly like for power. We need to continue to be there as a source of finance necessary to do what is good for all the peoples of the world with an understanding of freedom for all and free speech and the escape from slavery that some economic systems do indeed weigh too heavily but to destroy the very system p that was open-minded enough without replacing it would create something like the social system in the Soviet Union was just governed by a few rather ignorant people for as happened in Germany by greedy and sensitive people who love their pet parakeets more than people.

“Time” is not a one-dimensional phenomenon. In capitalism time is money. Money can tell time. Money can tell if the job you were assigned was completed. It is money that does all the talking in capitalism. What makes a diamond so valuable is time and time alone. Human labor cannot produce a diamond. Nature alone produces the ore. So it should be conceivable that the longer the time it takes to produce a product the more valuable it will be as no wine is fine without time. All other products share the same substance in varying amounts...if today’s harvest takes twice the time it took last year the more value it will contain the happier the capitalist farmer will be. Thinks of what this means... a drought interrupted and doubles the time it takes to grow the crop...this consequence makes the harvest more valuable to the farmers. Here’s another example; the longer it takes... and for as long as the equipment lasts a mining operation for gold and precious metals will be valued by how many weeks, days and hours was the extraction process going on for that metal. In a capitalist world it becomes profitable for humans to dig holes indefinitely on the earth’s surface because the longer they dig the more valuable the haul. This is strange behavior. The Egyptians, Romans, Inca, Maya, Aztec, Chinese, all spent their weeks, days, and hours building pyramids, monuments of stone, to an excess degree and we dig holes, bore, rinse dirt and leave poc marks on the Earth’s skin searching for precious metals because in money terms precious metals is an infinite stream of cash.

I would say Russia didn’t finish the system. Russia is more like China. Russia is playing chess and the US is playing checkers. Russia knew keeping US dollars or fx in the U.S. New York federal reserve would be a liability. I think Jim rickards is right. Russia kept money in the U.S. just some as they sold some and bought gold. Russia gave Washington something to steal so Washington stole Russias money showing to the world the U.S. dollar is not a neutral reserve currency. Russia simply set things in motion or prepared things but the U.S. did the theft
