Mostly just the day to day food and regular expenses. For example, a package of Oreo cookies was approximately $12 at the store we shopped out. Most food has to be imported in so there are some pretty expensive items. That said, things like fruit weren't terribly priced.

Hello! We were there in late summer/early fall. The scooter is more like a small motorcycle but you put your feet infront of you like sitting in a chair. But the throttle and all that is more similar to a motorcycle than a bike.

@TheWanderingFirefighter that race was a good race for me! I have a fear of open water for some odd reason even though I do plenty of sprint triathlons... something about the open water. I liked the swim in Des Moines but I remember the water being like bath water... overall, I miss Des Moines! We are doing the Wisconsin Milkman 70.3 Sunday! Yeah, I chuckled a few times on your video. It helped me actually calm some of my nerves for this weekend. Great content once again!!

@TheWanderingFirefighter I wanted to do the Des Moines one so bad!! The Milkman was narly... the bike, my husband had over 3,000 ft of climbing... it was a good race overall they did a good job with everything! Thanks for that !!!

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I’ve lost about 25 pounds since this video, so that helps a lot…haha! I hit the trail, go on a hike, jump on the rower, or lift whenever I get the chance (about 5 days a week, I’d say). And I studied abroad at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton back in the day and my family took a camper van trip from Sydney to Airlie Beach before Covid. Love Brisbane, mate! My girls are huge fans of Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo :)

Yep. This boogie is for real.

Some of the hammock straps have loops in them for adjustment or some have straps that can tighten when you pull them. Using the shortest length might help that situation :) hope that answers lol
