Did you drill / widen the end cap?

To be fair gardiner say 20m however I've used it at 40m before no issues in full blast

I use retcus21 fittings, still haven't changed the fittings. Just remember to make the end cap wider so female retcus21 fitting will fit inside, straight fittings pull off

Retcus21 fittings I've found better hardly any leaks after switching pump off, the John guest fitting was very fiddly to get on with

@@yesno9834 I been window cleaning almost 20 years … I’ve met and spoke to hundreds of window cleaners from all over the country the majority agree that a wfp system shouldn’t be used on a ground floor window / bay it’s pure laziness and we all say the same thing The problem with today’s society …is lazy Afraid of going up a ladder scared of heights or simply unfit these ain’t professional old school window cleaners there ain’t many of us left but we do a better job than any wfp system can do and I can bet I could get a better finish traditionally than any system on the market I only use a wfp when I cannot reach a window of a ladder or a jumbo set of ladders in fact … that’s the only Time

@@OBEEGAINZ It’s irrelevant how long you’ve been window cleaning, and to say it’s “laziness” is just delusional. WFP is far safer, quicker, and produces better results. Safer because you’re not up and down ladders. Quicker because it’s more efficient. Better because it doesn’t leave a soapy residue which attracts dirt quicker and leaves a clean, spotless finish. If you choose to be a traditional window cleaner then that’s your choice, you’ve every right to decide how to operate your work day and business. However, if someone else wishes to maximise turnover and profit in a far safer way by using WFP, don’t bash them for it, it just makes you sound really salty.

@@OBEEGAINZ Nope, not facts… opinion - which you’re entitled to of course, as am I by disagreeing with you. If you want to do ground windows traditionally then you’re well within your right. Another window cleaner who chooses to do it with WFP has every right. Both methods done correctly will leave a clean window, there’s hardly a science to it. It’s just comical hearing you wax lyrical about how YOU think it should be done and dismissing anyone else not adopting the same methods as being “lazy”. Someone using WFP will be quicker, more efficient and increase profit for their business, in the process using a far safer method than running up and down ladders. I’d say “clever” would be the adjective to use.

Use a sill brush, if really dirty use a bit of fairy Platinum before cracking out the ubik 2000

Yes I have changed it from straight fitting to a rectus 21 fitting, you will need to make the end cap wider and file it but it works
