the first few moments as you spoke of japan being safe enough for children to walk alone, spot on. both japan and korea often let elementary children walk alone if they wish. i was in korea for a bit, and felt incredibly safe in hongdae. i was and still am a teenager (18 right now), so i didn’t go clubbing. i’m sure club-goers would have a completely different story. i’m a blasian female and 4’11. my stay was in a smaller road. not an alleyway, but looked like one during the night. went out for a bit to get food, no problems. don’t take this for granted, of course, remain vigilant and bring pepper spray. still, it’s insane because both japan and korea are safe enough to typically roam about as a child or woman. yet the cases you hear from there are always the WORST and gruesome!!

Chaos;Head and its successor, Chaos;Child, are such bangers. It's a shame the rest of the sci adv animes didn't get the same amount of love that was put into Steins;Gate I've only played Noah, so I didn't realize how much more it fleshes out the true ending and shows Takumi's growth. Thanks to the various character routes, which are synchronized delusions Takumi shares with the corresponding heroines (with Shogun's help), he's able to better understand them and earn their trust. And instead of Rimi not killing Takumi because of Shogun already being dead, she spares him because of her feelings for him. Which I think hits a lot harder and speaks to Rimi's character development as well.

I'm gonna be honest. I think the best way to enjoy Raging Loop (in my time watching this) is to see it as 2 different media. On one hand, a gripping story about trying to find the secrets of the village. On the other, an absolute batshit bizzare story about how complicated you can make something. Is it much? Yes. But I'm genuinely smiling after having seen this review because I love both sides of the narrative.

It’s kinda sad that the anime Adaptation of Chaos Head gets such a bad rap, because honestly I don’t think it’s that bad. I do believe the game does a better job of telling the story, but the plot is basically the same. I do believe that the anime should have been a bit longer that way it could explain the science behind it better and some of the scenes that were missing from the game. With all the extra material you explained in this video alone, I think they could have added at least 3 to 4 episodes to the anime to better explain the part that were confusing and added extra scenes to give the characters more depth.

A VN that does this exceptionally well is “Slay the Princess,” A story that heavily features body horror, gore, and the two leads repeatedly killing one-another in a seemingly endless loop (sound familiar) but one nails the romance incredibly well, and the other is lacking

Definitely a more honest view of sadistic personality, the truth is that serial killers are these lonely and deeply troubled people. Pathetic to the core because of their upbringing and the life they live. The western portrayal of serial murderers as being cool and mysterious is exactly the creation of a myth, but I see the Japanese view as something far more honest and self reflective. The myth is of the failures of the character and the society around him, while in the west it’s supernatural and alien, something which cannot be understood. Zodiac is a very good film, but it does this exactly with the murderer, playing up the mythos of the crimes and the faceless person behind them. I think the Japanese definitely have the better portrayal, it’s truthful also.

Oh man am I sad I was late to the party on this and there's no more videos. Noah definitely fleshes out the characters a good deal more and that's the big thing. The endings are still relatively weak to the rest of the story, but still holds a lot of the impact, the additional routes and endings mostly hold up but trying to get into the routes is pretty unintuitive so you unfortunately either need a lot of patience or a guide for those that prefer going in blind, but your first playthrough or two can be still up to you and the main steam guide handles things well enough your spoilers are pretty limited. Glad I got to see this break down and even find some new things to be impressed with in this game. I really need to continue the series of games too.

I only played through this once for each route a while back, fell asleep listening to your before bed and woke up with a perfect recollection of the scene with the box before the scream in terror. Pretty solid case in point of how much that can stick
