Captured by A.C-T. of the defunct Pesanta Urfolk, this footage documents the final live show of the Salem, Oregon black metal band Leech. Originating in 2004 as a mixture of blackened thrash and eco-crust, Leech pushed further into the mists over the years through a series of obscure split vinyl releases and increasingly lo-fi demos in pursuit of a sound/concept described as True Cascadian Grey Metal, eventually disintegrating just as the rest of the burgeoning Cascadian Black Metal movement exploded. this whole album is amazing/inspiring/awesome/fantastic, but Saudade (Journey to Peace) is like one of the greatest songs i've heard this year - LOVE IT!!!!!
Dark, Haunting, Abysmal....yet very Calming... I feel like I've listened to this before, but I never have....that atmosphere is very familiar. Great ambience from Mr Riedl.

I hate to be that "anal nerd guy" that's annoyingly technical but this album cover is a digitally enhanced photo of the Horsehead Nebula taken by the Hubble telescope but the anal factor on my part is this nebula is in the constellation Orion, which is in the Milky Way Galaxy & not the Andromeda. Regardless I love the vibes on this thing & appreciate ANYONE that has a love & passion for cosmology, Astrophysics, Theoretical Physics, & just physics & science in general at every level. salute
