Nice - wish I’d thought of that in 1993. I could have got even more unfinished tunes 😉. What’s your workflow for getting samples on to the Miggy? Some wav2iff converter then chuck on your SD card in the Amiga?

The 19 command is very useful as from what I can understand the octamed 4 memory can't be implemented adding external boards. Thanks for the video, Yeoooow!

Nice video mate, been a fan for a while both on here and instagram. I reckon, if you made a beginners guide to octamed it would do quite well in today's world where there seems to be a resurgence of retro gear and sounds. Especially if it concentrated on jungle. I bought an amiga with the view to get into octamed but useful tutorials are hard to find, so it's just siting under my desk. Shame really.

Somehow, after three decades of using the various versions of Octamed on the Amiga and PC; I had no idea you could do this! 🤣

I am currently making an ambient track. It will be 90s atmospheric brain dance ambient sound with a nice rhythm set to some sounds of the city I had recorded. this is the exact sort of thing i do for nearly every beat as of late. then i’ll chop my creation. it’s fun cause it hard part is in matching timbres of the old records. also questions intention in sampling. are we looking for the chords, for the rhythm . god i love digging
