There was an outdoor public workout featuring Roberto Duran with a ring set up in Times Square to promote the first Duran Leonord fight in 1980. Duran skipped rope for a full 3 minute round while squatting and hopping around the ring. The rope was going so fast you couldn’t even see it, incredibly impressive. I won a lot of money on that fight after personally seeing the shape Roberto Duran was in for that fight!
