Добавлен 19 июн 2013
Hello, my name is Max Tovstyi. I am professional musician and sound engineer in BrokenBricks Studio. You can know me for my playing and songwriting in such bands as The Heavy Crawls, Max Tovstyi's Blues Band, Lucifer Rising, Reprise, Turnaround and many more. Thanks for visiting my page, here I am sharing my favorite videos from my musical life and more!
Brian Jonestown Massacre - Anemone (Live in Phoenix, AZ)
Great performance by the band that started a fight on stage and disbanded a few weeks later after another fight in Australia. Ngl one of the cleanest sounding performances I have ever seen! Anton is genius even though a tough guy.

This is a Muddy Waters song I really love and I play it pretty regularly. It has also been featured on my latest album Arizona Blues. Playing it with a real Hall of Famer Brian Fahey was a lot of fun! I hope you enjoy this clip. On bass: Doug Hill, drums: Brian Fahey #blues #gibson #guitar #electricguitar #bass #muddywaters

Acoustic Jam in the Park

Here's an acoutic demo of me playing some of my favourite songs in the park near my house. The tracklist is: - Can't You See (Marshall Tucker Band) - Midnight Rider (Allman Brothers Band) - I Shall Be Released (Bob Dylan) - One More Cup of Coffee (Bob Dylan) - Going to California (Led Zeppelin) I decided to make this video as most of my shows I play electric guitar even as a solo act so now you...
Max Tovstyi - Double Trouble (Live in Phoenix)

On August, 30th I played a show in Phoenix, AZ at a well known music venue called 1227. The show was dedicated to late great SRV so I played a few tunes in his style of playing. I hope you enjoy this video as well as the tone of my “straight-into-amp” guitar. The backing track is from Now You Shred, I didn’t make it and neither have any rights but since I am not making money I hope this is cool...

Nice live version of me and my band doing this cover of Marshall Tucker Band song. I had this arrangement in my mind for a while and I play it live solo pretty often. We didn’t practice it but it turned out nice. That’s good I filmed it! #guitar #guitarist #fender #marshalltuckerband

What a guitar solo “That'll keep you going through the show”
the original studio cut is still my favorite but austrailian pink floyd did a rendition that blew this away sooo hard
I am so pleased you saw the great man and at such a famous venue! Video is really good as well ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🎸
Tuesday night had better sound for sure....
@@davidvanbrunt4233 really? What happened
@MaxTovstyiMusic sound was fading in and out Wed night...
This really is extremely moving....30 years since I saw him in concert....What a musician! Lights look very good - must have been great live.🌻
@@traceya9615 he was incredible ! 🏁
thought these guys were dead
I was at the show Both nights Why did the sound oscillate that much tonight vs the previous night ?
Constantly going up and down in pitch over time
@@korovkin noticed it too
Venue ? Or equipment ? I attended both shows The prior day it was perfect
Definitely one of the best comfortably numb solos of all time.
Was anything mentioned that David may have been sick because his voice sounds a little raspy and it did not sound that way Friday night
He is not 25 anymore...he sounded great
great stuff m8!
👏🏻👏🏻👍Really enjoyed this. Great band!😊
u suck

I was in a band in 1976. My buddie's 1970 Twin Reverb couldn't do anything but clean and nobody had pedals. It took the whole band to load the Twin into the truck for gigs.
Sounds fantastic

I really enjoyed that and when I have time I'll look for the interpretations which may or may not have been posted 😂 although I started playing 60 years ago, I've only really played for about 5 and 1/2 years and I did have a 51-year break and I'd never played any Blues until recently well, back in the sixes I've played some rhythm and blues; so is this going I play bass and I don't have a great ear for hearing changes in chords and I have damaged hearing from heavy metal concerts but I'm playing quite a lot of Blues at jam sessions BUT They are mainly 12 Bar Blues and I had never heard of an 8 Ball Blues until about a year ago so The various length of a blues 8. 12. 16 etc let's not forget nine ball Blues such as sitting on top of this world, and it seems there are quite a few one bar Blues.. To quote sonny boy Williamson you got to help me or should I say please can you help me

Great playing! Really useful video. There are talented female blues artists out there - be nice to see a few added in the notable artists 😉
Super-great tribute to the wonderful and much-missed SRV. Thanks for posting this, Max 👏🏻👏🏻

Great collection Max. I really enjoyed the pictures of you on stage along with the sound demo. Thanks 😊

That was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No K.C. blues, AKA "Jump Blues", gues you can't have it all, well they're all just variations on a common blues scale, and blues progessions.
@@derekemrie2987 i did it during pandemic when I had some free time
I have one as well, but I am afraid that I do not it as much justice as it receives in your hands 🙂

Well done! I'm a big fan of most Blues genres, and enjoyed this a lot!

great!
poor bros playing as if his dog just got ran over.....
I already own one of these nice newer Silvertone 1423's, but I would like to install other pick-ups. Preferably P90's. But I'm super unsure if these will fit. Is this a normal humbucker format? Would P90's in humbucker format fit? Unfortunately I haven't found any detailed information on the Silvertone website. Bare Nuckle has beautiful BLUE NOTE HSP90 P90's in humbucker format that I would like to install. I would appreciate any help. Thanks and greetings from Germany.
Very good and informative video and I love the way you play, fucking smashing 👍✌️😎
What about swamp blues?
5:55 also possibly John Mayer
John mayer doesn’t play jazz at all, he is more of a funk blues hybrid. He is also heavily influenced by srv

Excellent video - that guitar has found its best home now!
Great find. It's really nice that it survived. It's really nice that you playing it . I'm sure it that it's so happy now. I take tums with mine so they get played.
прикольно

Great One Man ZEP BAND
Let's just agree that it's British, not the Blues.
