Michael Jackson - One Day In Your Live (Classic Clips)
I had all her all her LPs . 20 videos 1986.
Esta pelirroja Me fascina ❤❤❤
I was so infatuated with her when I was younger. I have never seen this performance.
VH-1 agogo, April 1989
TATu was squeaky as well, but melodic. Kate just goes up and down the scale....check out ' Not going to get us'....far better composed.
I first fell in love with Kate in 1986 when I was stationed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Inexpensive cassettes and I bought all of her albums, through 1986, that I could.
me too !
Having heard both "Kite" and "Wuthering Heights" on her album, the vocals are definitely live. There is just enough of a pacing difference and sub-octave change to convince me. Kudoes to the band to add backing vocals to "Kite". I believe her WH backing music was on tape, because it sounded spot-on with the album.
Love so much❤❤❤❤❤❤
They didn't know what would hit them! They just didn't get her, did they?
yes… and she performed on German TV with the red robe… nobody on the island .. which don‘t belong to EU ..recogniced the great artist
Isn't that what you call a Goddess?
First time on TV and she OWNS the stage.
The Germans are good people i have been buying music from germany since i was a kid also had german pen pals the Germans are also very kind when you buy from there through ebay the minute you pay they send your item they also often send you extra items amazing kate started way on german tv and the man was right she would be a superstar ..
Legendary
I remember so much her first ever TV appearance. I was 14 at the time and her music influenced my whole musical experience for many years until today. TV was so much more sophisticated back then and Alfred "Bio" Biolek had the courage and the intuition to introduce us to so many artists, often still controversial, who went on to have mega careers. It is well worth looking here for other artists such as DAF, Nina Hagen, Klaus Nomi etc. who were also introduced to the German public by him. He was a great Entertainer.
1963
- eher gegen das zweifach gestrichene C !!! 😄👍
Wonderful song. Love it
Brilliant thanks for sharing
It started all in a German tv show ♥️😊
Great song!!!
My 15yo daughter just told me that Kate Bush is very popular today thanks to the Netflix series Stranger Things. She can't stop listening to her. And never forget: It all started in 1978, in the former train station of the "Köln-Frechen-Benzelrather Eisenbahn" and I remember it very well because my parents were always watching this show. Very sad that Alfred Biolek can't see this any more. He passed away in 2021.
So awesome that we have this TV broadcast
Fand's faszinierend schräg, meine erste Kate Bush-Maxi war aber erst "Running up that Hill"
It's amazing to see how the German audience had a chance to experience her beautiful song first on a National Television program. Nice to see. I know where they filmed it.
Danke Bio. Ruhe in Frieden.
Kate Bush is everything
I fell in the river trying to get a better look and totally missed them disembarking lol
My God the pure talent and beauty!
this guy was a total Dbag to Kate. Listen again...
She made me feel all funny inside, as a schoolboy
Brilliant song Up on the Roof, i guess this is a demo, who is the male singer? I dont really like her piano kinda strident but i think its just marking the timing of a demo.Gerry and Carole were brilliant but Carole found her full flower with Tapestry
Gerry Goffin is the male Singer.
Das gab es nur in den 70ern !! Kreativ, experimentell, emotional. Mega !!
Depot of the Köln Frechen Benzelrather Eisenbahn...
Some segments in the video are stamped not adjacent to each other
BTW..she was on tv before this in the UK btw
I.adore KB..first female crush I ever had in the 70' s ,apart from Patti Smith..& the very first gig I went to was the very first proper gig she played at the Liverpool Empire Theatre & I think it was April1979..just before my 12 th birthday I remember that .! Funny how in the 70' s & 80' s there was a kind of inappropriate white British reggae fusion in music..The Police being the cringiest offenders & listening to this now..yeah it's white man's middle class reggae from the Home Counties..embarrassing .lol
Patti Smith, yes, another heroine of my youth. I still listen to her songs!
I am rather sad having just found out apparently she was lip syncing wuthering heights. I always though both songs where live, however I read that she used a backing tape recorded specially for the second song that had the vocals on too and not just the instrumental like you'd think .
I have listened so many times to wuthering heights and in my opinion this is live. It's a tiny bit slower and at some points I can here a difference from the original recording. I may be wrong, but I think it's live.
@@calhier yes it’s not the studio recording for sure
It’s definitely not a lip sync. Not sure where you “found out,” but you have been mislead. The WH music track, yes, pre-recorded but not the vocal.
The Cilla Black bit gets funnier when you find out they knew each other very well from their days/nights at the Cavern.
Vergleichbares sucht man heute leider vergeblich.
R.I.P. Herr Doktor.
