But can't the Local/State Government Set-Up or Encorage (Private) in the building of a Candle Factory, Crucial for this important Industry which could really help in Generating more Revenue for the State instead of alway waiting for Allocations from the Fed. Government. Really Sad.

Of course synthetic material cannot be competitive in prices with natural cotton fabrics. The government needs to protect the locally produced genuine textile products by imposing heavy tarrifs on those fake imports.

Nigeria has been addicted to foreign imports. The discovery of oil and the wealth it produced exposed us to a life of ease ; instead of using that wealth to develop infrastructure and our own industries we squandered it on imports like a drunkard.

Maybe this business could be modernized introducing robots. Though it would have a negative effect because there could be loss of certian jobs but it would attract another generation to it. Innovation and new business models ( including web technology/apps) would be used to scale up the selling process. But will the locals embrace the change???

Chinese are copycats. Is not a criticism simply a fact. Thats how they got rich, copying the west and selling to the poor masses around the world, cheap knock offs of original labels e.g. rolex. It is simply their business model.

Great job on the video! This episode is definitely the best one so far. @ 35:21, you reaffirmed my faith in the Buy Nigeria project and showcased the immense potential of doing business in Nigeria. I have a suggestion to preserve and enhance the value of this heritage: integrating technology such as QR codes embedded on each handmade Adire to make them traceable. Collaboration with market unions, including influential figures like your aunt, could improve the dye section and promote ethical production practices. Archiving vintage designs and granting property rights to original designs would also be beneficial. Creating a website and social media pages for awareness and updates on the process would further engage the community. Properly executed, these initiatives could attract investors to tap into the opportunities present. Well done!
