As someone who gotta deep care for design and art (keep in mind everything is subjective ig) I think the difference between Nike and adidas designs as of late is the visual language/ storytelling and continuities that evolve a silhouette. I think Nike is taking what is most popular (Kobe 6/kobe 5/gtcut) designs as replicating them with cheaper materials for everyt athlete, tho sum of the shoes performance elite, visually, the ja 1/2 Nike Sabrina 1/2 Gianni’s shoe and lebrons silhouette from the 20/21 have all just felt like repackaged Kobe’s, where as (again imo) AE1s release visually new and eye catching not many liked it upon leaks, same with the harden 8 and 7 but the seven really kickstarted this new, neo futurism visual language (lowkey fleeced from yzy design team, still different and more avant-garde do) and has kept small continuities shoe to shoe but still making three shoes (talm bout hardens) that do look different but all have a similar silhouette from their predecessor.

I would only rock the mismatch but fire👌🔥🔥
