Cool, Danke für den Überblick. Will Nordic Skating lernen, aber Saison ja schon fast rum. Dachte schon an Skikes, aber mit Blades ist man Jetset mal flexibler. Vor allem, wenn man die Techniken damit auch trainieren kann.

Is it possibile to make alternate movement otherwise using dual hand spin? Kann mann Hande wechseln statt zu beide Hande druckung?

Hey Zsolt, in this video you can see my old poles. I've bought them around 2006. It's a SWIX aluminium pole with the original SWIX cork-bars and also SWIX hard-metal-tips. In the meantime I had some EXCEL full-carbon poles, but on of them broke. Now I'm running on SPRINT semi-carbon poles (185 cm with lenght extension), the cork-bars from the EXCEL-poles (the SPRINT-bars are poor quality, ecspacially the cork) and LEKI twin-tips without the useless red rubber. You can see them in my 2. video.

What kind of pole do you use?

@FredWeiler Hallo Fred, kann es sein, dass Du deutsch sprichst? ;-) At the time the video was made (early may) the aerial railway wasn't open yet (runs only in summer). The distance of the track is about 6,5 km, but you can also start near behind Bludenz. Then it will be more than 1.000 m elevation. The road is a dead end so there is only little traffic. @marcus198 .../... The Jenex braking system is initially designed for Jenex rollerskis, but I believe to have already seen a multipurpose kit for the other rollerskis. The brake (very simple to use with a typical telemark movement) is rather made for the emergency braking: to stop on a short distance. Going downhill on several kilometers, a speed reducer is better, this to avoid to bungle a wheel in one day with the brake. Regards, Fred

@marcus198 Ach, entschuldigung... natürlich ist es Hallo und nicht Tschuss!! How did you managed the traffic on the road, was not there any car? There where I am living in Switzerland are very long bicycle paths without traffic where we can skate protected from the cars (see skatingland.ch). It's pleasant but flat all the time, thus can be boring anytime. The only place with asphalt and uphill roads without car which I was able to find is only 6km length : ( .../...

@FredWeiler Salut Fred, in first your answer tends to be funny: In german language "Tschüss" means "Goodbye" ;-) "Hallo" or "Guten Tag" fits better. The video was made on vacation in Brand valley in austria. It's situated above Bludenz and you're absolutely right, it's a marvelous place. The Jenex brake seems interesting to me. I'll try to figure out if it will fit to my Skiskett Nord rollski. Regards Marcus

@marcus198 Tschüss Marcus Very well! In any case, the place where you practice seems to be marvelous: that tempts to go there :) For downhill, I use 2 speed reducers and brake made by Jenex on my rollerskis. It is well designed and very effective. Best regards

@FredWeiler Salut Fred, I also got rollerski for classical training in flat areas. But this video was made on the mountain pass from Brand to the aerial railway to the Lünersee. The road in this area has a pitch of around 8 %. So a working brake is mandatory and there is none on my rollerski. Regards Marcus
