As we have reached the needed autude, I think about rating this flight. Obviously, the ground experience wasn't the nicest (as the flight schedule was uncertain all the time) we had a 1h delay. @ i have visited Kazakhstan, but it was back in 2021 during COVID and i visited Aktau only. Next time my goal is Almaty and Astana and Turkistan :)
I guess you flew from London? Yeah, Kazakhstan is full of great and cool places, but you should visit Almaty first. Because it’s like a cultural capital that tells you more about the country in general
@ i have in fact never been to London 😅 but i will go there this year. My next trip to Kazakhstan will be a big one, i will first visit Almaty and then Astana, and then head to Turkistan or Aktau (Rixos Resort where i was at). I plan to fly on SCAT too just for the experience :)
@ZRHTrainspotter I suggest you to settle in a hotel “Karavan Saray” when in Turkistan, because it’s located near almost every landmark (like in literally a short walk) and offers comfortable rooms as well! Rixos is also a nice choice, but I believe it’s more expensive. You can also fly directly to Almaty from London, as Air Astana re-released (idk how to say) this flight a few months ago

Great video. I’m shocked that Air Astana only has 2 lavatories on the 321NEO.
@@scottnichols3685 About this… To be honest, I think that FAs thought I was an economy class passenger (due to my age ig) and thus sent me to the economy class lavatories. But there is also one more for business class passengers. Overall - 3 lavatories (2 for economy and 1 for business) which isn’t too bad I would say
If only they had flown a newer plane. This is not a short flight, so I think this plane should be used on routes that take only 1-2 hours. Except from that, everything was nice.

Yep, unfortunately. I was surprised to see it, but they have an online IFE system, where you can watch content through your device. I believe it was only on an outbound flight, again surprisingly.

Ah, the good old Heraklion Airport, i flew from it 5 Times. The Approach and the location right at the Sea are amazing! But the Terminal and Ground Handling is an absolute disaster. Great video my friend! :)
