@@overdosekeeb i see you have a blue yeti and that thing is a complete menace when it comes to picking up background noise Fixing Gain Gain on the actual microphone (the knob) all the way down to basically 3%. Right click sound in windows, Recording Devices, right click the microphone and open properties. Under "Levels" set the level to 50 - 60. Filters in OBS (My examples, adjust for yourself so it only turns on when you speak into it) Noise Suppression (Helps to suppress background noise, lol.. self explanatory) I have mine at -29. I adjust if needed be. Noise Gate (stops ac/other things from "turning back on" my mic; once I stop talking my mic turns off so no sound is heard on stream) Close: -48 Open: -38 Compressor (keeps you at basically the same volume level and when you yell it makes it so people don't go deaf from you blowing out their ear drums. Keeps my Room AC unit sound out of my stream too) Ratio: 10 Threshold: -27.30 (I adjust if needed be) Output gain: 10.00 ( ^ ) This is what made my mic sound the best without allowing all background noise to come in (loud AC whine and whatnot). After this, you'll still have issues with sound coming through. The blue yeti picks up everything and you can't stop it fully.

@@overdosekeeb otherwise if you want to upgrade your audio setup at some point I use an SM7B and a Motu M2 since the motu m2 has a bunch of options for input/output. You have much better control over your gain and such with a mic amplifier and a better tuned microphone than you ever will with a USB mic. Hope this helps :)
