First wreath in video is last year's inventory design. Just wasn't satisfied with that so I flipped it to a new design. See improved design layout that's makes it bigger, but still airy with lots of textures.

This wreath was designed using the DIY tin cowbells. The bells would also be pretty displayed by themselves on a flat surface or hanging on a hook.
Tin Cow Bells | DIY tin cans | how I painted them to look rusty

In this video, I show you how a finished and painted the DIY tin can cowbells to look vintage and rusty. These bells would also look pretty in other colors. To see how made the bells, check out the Tin Cow Bells | Making the Bells | DIY with recycled cans | unpainted

In this video, I recorded different tools/ways to get the bottom of the tin cans dome shaped, making/attaching the loop. As you see....somethings work better than others. And show you how to make and connect the metal loop on the top. The whole process is really quite easy!

this is crap
I know this vid been a year now but because I’m searching for diy cow bell and this vid is the best for me. Can you still remember what brand and colors you paint on that can? I want to know to start my own project. Thanks
🙌😍😍😍😍😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What is the little ring hanger on top of the bell?
It’s thin tin. I have a roll of tin that I can cut with scissors. You can also use thick aluminum foil pie pan.
where did you get the owls? Did you craft them? Love how you modified the originals
Wow when you shake it it sounds like a human saying "ding ding ding!"
Lol
Now I gotta go dig last night's cans outta the trash lol thank you for sharing I been trying to think of how to make these . Tried temptation cat treat containers looks more like the square bells on a cow neck but still going to use them also took silver simmer eyeshadow and mixed with the paint to make it shinny since I didn't have silver made q light grey and eyeshadow lol
This idea is meant to be economical. Use what you got on hand …doesn’t have to be fancy to make some thing pretty .😊
Pure genius
You are not in camera?
😊 I wanted this video to be up close on the project so y’all could see the process better.
I wonder if warming the can a bit to soften it would make the process easier. You’d need gloves. I think this is so clever
I’m thinking heating would help too. I’ll have to try that
Hermosa, muy linda. Saludos desde Panamá. Gracias por compartir. Bendiciones.
Just what I was looking for! Thank you so much.....
Nice job. A sand bag and a Louisville slugger might help you to dome the bottoms of your cans. 😊😊😊
I like that idea!
Adorei lindo e o melhor quando é muito longo fica cansativo
How did you get the top rounded?
I show that in the video before this one. DIY making cowbells
I thought I was gonna see the bell and hear it
I show that in the next video where I’m painting them
Hello I need a bell
That’s brilliant to have your wreath up so you can see it! Can I ask where you got your stand & what it is?… Your redo is beautiful!
It is an easel I got from Michaels. Think it was $15. I added block of wood to the top of the easel and attached coat hook . It works really well!
Love it
Much better design!
Great video! I think you done a good job on the video. I loved your porch leaner too! Your doing a great job! Keep it up & don’t get discouraged. Remember YT is a marathon not a sprint. You will get there! Wish you all the success in the world
No products from China anymore ...., that is what we love to see......... You go Rebekah !!! Thank you , American artisans at work !!
❤ 🇺🇸
Coating with 3 layers of clear sealer so they wouldn't rust.
It is a pretty flower arrangement. Like the bird in it.
Twig cages?! They're wonderful. And so rustically gorgeous. ❤️
Brilliant!!!! I do a family gift bag for my children and their families and this will be a wonderful addition to next year's bag! Well done!
Beutifull ✨️
Love them 💕
❤
Молодец! Получилось очень красиво! Я в этом году сделала колокольчики из баночек от йогурта.
So cute!
Just found you making the cow bells they are awesome. What a fantastic idea ! Love it. Watching from Pennsylvania . Following now
Those bells are gorgeoous!!!.. I'm definitely gonna make these for my decoration!... Thank you for the great tips!. I inmediately subscribed after watching the first video about the rustic bells. Greetings and blessings from Venezuela!. Merry Christmas !
How did you some those cans. Love the transformation.

Nice job
Very nice.
I am so glad I found you. I love your bells. And the wreath is absolutely gorgeous.
Amazing!! New sub.. 🎄🤗🎀
Those are not brad nails-those are for paper . Brad “nails” are used for finishing wood trim. I have no idea how you made the top, or the loop. IF it’s in another video, perhaps saying that or even better, very quickly go back over it. For those of us that have never heard of you or you channel, and when deciding whether to leave a thumbs up or down or to subscribe, a video that shows the entire project from start to finish is so much more professional-/and for most people, if they do not have to bounce around to various videos to get the entire tutorial is going to be better-and more people will subscribe. I’m very interested in this tutorial but at 4 minutes 36 seconds in, I already have these questions. I’m not trying to be mean-just commenting and trying to give constructive criticism. If this is one of your first videos, then good job.
Thank you for checking out my channel. When I ordered them off Amazon, the description said brad nails. The packet that the gold “button like things” came in also say “Mini Brads” so I assumed that meant brad nails. Maybe there is brads for paper and brads for wood…??? The painting the cow bells was the focus on this video. However, I do have a video that shows how I made the cow bells. That video is the one just before this one and it shows how I figured out how to make the cow bell…and demonstrates how I made and attached the loop. It’s TIN COW BELLS / Making the bells| DIY with recycled tin cans / unpainted.
Those look so authentic! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you. And thanks for watching.
Very nice, very creative 👍 Thanks so much for sharing ❣️
Thanks so much 😊
Y’all these look like a lot of work, but honestly it is not. I’m showing different items in the video… trying to figure out what works. I was learning as I was recording. Honestly, each one only takes about 3-4 minutes to get the dome shape. And a great way to relieve stress, get an arm exercise, save money and just have fun! ❤️
So can you show can before you started . What did you make your loop on top out of ?
I cut a piece of thin tin. You could cut a strip from an aluminum pie pan or even the can lid. But be careful with can lid.. very very sharp! The video just before this one shows you how I made the cow bells. DIY tin can cow bells unpainted.
@@craftingontheridgebyrebeka6401 I used plastic spackle container , did two then sliced my thumb with box cutter . 🤣 I'm ok , hand slipped .
Oh no Penny! Glad your ok.
Absolutely love
That turned out very nice, I really like that new subscriber
LOVE!!! 👏 ❤️ 😍
Coisa mais linda
FYI- Lots of us don't want to go to Facebook to see how to paint them.
I try to post to different social medias, but each have a different criteria on uploading videos. I’m trying to download the live video from Facebook so I can edit it for uploading to RUclips.
Video on painting has been posted to RUclips
LADY JUST BUY YOUR DAMMM X-MASS 🔔😂🤣🙄
😂😂😂 For all the work…yes one could agree. I can afford to buy them, but some people can not or just prefer to craft. My customer is on a budget so I made these for her. This is an example of a lower costed version and a way to recycle. And… buying them would defeat the whole purpose of CRAFTING
It's fun being creative and making them.🤗
Btw I found first video . I'm Making mine with soup cans and spackle around cans for dimension.
There are those of us who love making things. Buying things is ok but making something takes time and effort. I’d way rather have a beautifully hand made item than a mass made item from China.
I love giving handmade gifts that I've either purchased or made. Gifts like that offer personality, individuality, and something authentic in a way that that mass-produced gifts can't.
I painted them!! Check out my live replay “Painting DIY tin cowbell” on my Facebook page. I show you how to paint one and then show you how all of them turned out. They look great!! facebook.com/craftingontheridge/ I’ve downloaded the 1hour live video from Facebook and working on an shorter edited version for RUclips.
I love how you did the process. Please show us how you painted them. Thanks
