Yes, the initial part of the video stated SRP-URPRO CYAN ASSIST :) . The proper name is CYAN filter, not red filter. The filter looks red as it reduce ( filter ) cyan color. Use SRP ( snake river prototyping ), it has the best color correction. Safe diving.

Hi Tetsuro san, It all depends what your video footage target is. If say a concert and then we want 1 - 2 songs full coverage, surely there will be more than 1 camera involved as wide angle all GoPro for 3 minutes per song will be boring video wise. Audio wise I will use the Black5 and the Rode as main audio track. For close up video use say RX100 or LX100 or GH-4. If location permit us to place a Black5 close enough to the stage and get the whole band/stage FOV, while not too close as to loose stereo imaging on the audio, this Black5 with Rode mic would be a good audio master track and master video track for other cameras to use for sync reference. Lets call this camera A. Syncing singers lips to the song on more than 1 video track ( cam B ) is not fun, I mean we are not broadcast people with real-time video mixer at site . We edit back at home :). I am saying that the cam B is not always recording, but doing short 15 seconds clips. If say only 2 song to record, better camera B record 100% without stop and we throw away what we do not need, save more time on the editing. Basically the audio recording WAV file quality is very good, all we need is a good mic. If one do interview, it will be easier. Say you interview in 4K and final delivery will be 1080p. You can do video in video panning/edit to make it look like a 2 camera 1080p set up , provided within good reach of the rode mic capturing normal conversation. This will depends on how far the people sit apart though.

Hi John, I dont have any clip as you need. I find it useless to use light when wide angle is the target, as lights do not go far in daylight. When doing macro I use lights, but also AWB as it is smart enough.

I forgot to ADD, I dont use Custom WB when using strobe. I use AWB :)

There are steps in the User Manual :). Me have not dive for a long time, so I cant explain in detail. Basically I shoot the PADI WB slate and make it at least 60% of the entire field of view and lock that Custom WB. Sorry me been not monitoring my RUclips channel and takes 4 months to reply to u.

This test was 2012 and there was no GoPro specific close up lens back then :) So I use commonly popular close up lens from real underwater cameras. They are very expensive and me old eyes now, I probably can't see out of focus condition if relying on GoPro small LCD. Even with Sony RX100 I need to use its focus peaking function .. LOL Its a fun experiment nevertheless

Hi Scott, Sorry me never use Adobe CS. I only know Vegas Pro and so so at it, not expert..LOL. I grade color mainly using GoPro Studio running parallel with Vegas Pro , but the color grading I do in GP studio, just a bit if for land video. If underwater, I heavily rely on GoPro Studio as I will choose Protune CamRaw or now called Native white balance. GP Studio can bring the color alive better as it recognized this Cineform technology Protune is. GoPro owned Cineform you see.

+Surya Prihadi I see. I have Sony Vegas pro as well. I'll have to try the Gopro app I guess. I'm used to better quality with my GH4. The gopro 4 4k seems very noisy to me.

Kjetil Kalla Its the housing. Nauticam now had RX100 mk3 housing with vacuum alarm system intergrated and has video out. Mk3 has 50 mbps video bit rate and a faster lens at 70mm equivalent and F2.8. MK2 lens is dark F4.9 but is 100mm equivalent. Housing is expensive, so best stick with latest generation one. For housing stick to Nauticam, they are the best. Nauticam Mk1, Mk2 and MK3 housing are all near the same cost, in fact Mk3 housing from Nauticam is lower cost for what is thrown as freebie, the vacuum electronics ( 150$) for example and its video version already at 995$ where as MK1 video version was US$1200 ish. Surya Prihadi thanks for your replies. Actually because of my skill level as I'm only an advanced diver I will be getting the Sony rx100 ii with meikon underwater housing. The reason for this is that it's a cheap overall package and I'm only interested in taking still images. I do have a gopro but I suspect apart from casual filming I won't be doing much... The meikon has very good reviews and you can attach a rig with strobes to it should I want to do that in the future. IQ wise there's not much difference between the rx100 ii and the iii I believe

Hi K, The mount is from Snake River Prototyping, its SRP. Google it. For the camera itself there is a 1/4" tripod screw, so the mount does not sit super flat on pool tile actually...but its OK.

Yes you can, but a NEX7 with its 50mm F1.8 lens is better for that purpose at 2 meters for Bokeh. But NEX7 will overheat fast when recording beyond 15 minutes if at 30C ambient temperature. Try the newer NEX series.
