Tutorial for adding buttons to your glasses to hold up a mask
Wearing masks puts stress on your ears. Especially if you are double masked.
I filmed this tutorial showing how to use elastic hair ties and buttons, and a pair of pointy tweezers to add buttons onto your glasses frames to hold your mask.

My Cat playing with Water
Просмотров 49913 лет назад
Our silly cat, Dizzy, LOVES to play with water!! He'll drink from the sink.. lapping at the water.. then sticking his paw in it, and drinking the water from that... then just sticking his head in and drinking the water as it runs down his face. If we don't turn the sink on, he'll lick the underside of the faucet until we do..

hi two questions important for me, a novice with this A) my wheel does NOT have a hollow core in the bobbin. its antique. is that a problem ? more importantly is B) i want to core spin with lurex on the outside, i want the WHOLE YARN to be shiny silver lurex complete and constant cover, lurex is not fibrous and sticky, what should i use as the core ??? you can look up " katia luxry " yarn on-line, thats the effect i want like a Xmas wraping cord

This probably feel like ancient history to you now lol but thanks so much for the posting, I am a relatively new spinner and trying out new techniques. This is brilliant because it allows for so much flexibility in the yarn. Great stuff.

Great video! I just tried corespinning with a commercial lace weight as my core and had alot of trouble because I was getting too much extra twist in my core, even after i had introduced opposite twist to my core. So I will try this out and see how it works. I think it'll be perfect seeing as I already accumulate that extra twist anyway. Thanks so much for sharing!

@ironjohn04 Hi John!! Yep.. a regular hot soak (I steam if I have these sort of embellisments that don't like water) Then I just hang (without weight) to dry. I don't thwack my corespun yarns, since they have such little twist, I don't need to redistribute it.
