This Gemini was built from a Keil Kraft kit by Adrian Culf. He replaced most of the wood and used a 8" Peck prop. The model didn't trim well for a circular flight until a 3rd vertical fin was added. This is the Guillow's 500 series (16.5" Span) FW-190. I replaced almost all of the wood with light contest balsa. As well, I reduced the thickness of the frames and bulkheads. To reduce nose weight, I lengthened the nose by 1.5cm. It is covered with chalked olive tsn domestic tissue with green acrylic airbrushed. Span: 41.9 cm Weight: 21.9g (without rubber)

The Firefly is built from Lubomir Koutny's beautifully rendered plans. I modified the plans to use fewer stringers and fewer wing ribs. The plans include no written instructions but are very detailed and accurate. This Hacker Cub was built and flown by Adrian Culf. It was modified to have a removable wing, secured with rubber bands. The original tail needed to enlarged significantly in order to trim the model. It is covered with Asuka yellow Japanese tissue to cover with one coat of 30% Eze-Dope. Weight: 55g Span: 72cm (28.3")

The DH.82 is built from a Hacker kit that has been lightened for indoor flying. I replaced some balsa with lighter stuff and generally made the longerons and stringers thinner. This is a heavily modified build of the 30" Dumas kit. A lot of the wood was replaced with light contest balsa. As well, I made the wings removable via tubes and sacrificial balsa spars.
