Dr Feelgood - Roxette - Live at Cardiff 1974
An early version (and much different to that which would become their first single). Taken from the Japanese extended edition of the Stupidity album.

Epiphone Uptown Kat - Quick Overview
Просмотров 13 тыс.4 года назад
A very quick overview of the new (2020) Epiphone Kat, sounds & features. Forgot to add that it sports Grover tuners. A couple of 'cautions' - this was shot on an iPhone so the sound quality is accordingly limited. I was also playing at 'bedroom volume' therefore you don't get the full range of tones and harmonics you would do at 'stage volume'

Mickey Jupp - The Woolpack, Eskdale, 22nd September 2017
First see this band at the cricketers westcliff on sea Essex brilliant.
Is that mo whitham on guitar?
Yep - Mickey Jupp (Vocs & Piano), Mo Witham (Guitar), Bob Clouter (Drums), Dennis Masterton (Bass)
Sounds a bit like Only Fools & Horses.
I can’t believe I was not at Club Riga for this gig. I believe I can see my best of mates Mick Bray ( now very sadly not with us ) in the audience
Amazing songwriter, guitarist and what a voice! A1 on the jukebox.
Bravo, Bravisimo.
double entrendre lyrics love the Band.. kick ass..Nick Love did a nice cover.
Is that mo whitham on guitar?
Yep, sure is: great player 🎸
There's a man named Jerry Lee Lewis you might want to check out too.
Remember the cricketers westcliff. Mo Witham guitar. Playing a gretsch i believe. Brilliant times.
84 now good old days.
I always thought Nick Lowe wrote this great song, turns out I was wrong! Unfortunately I never saw Mickey Jupp play live, seems like I definitely missed out - big time!
The orioles. They were. Southend. Playing at the cricketers.
Im 84 now. Still rocking.
fantastic boogie tune, i love it 😎👍😍
Aúpa don Lee: Viva el Cantábrico. Viva España.
#1 in the heritage charts . Nice one Mickey !
Chriz sake! I had no idea there was an original version, and one that swings like this
Great rocker!
Slick
Saw this band last night in Westcliff-on-Sea had a great time
I saw Doctor Feelgood live in 1983 when I was a student at the University of Leicester. Absolutely brilliant live - and what a performance from all the band on this clip. Real, raw, earthy British Rhythm 'n' Blues and much better than many 'Punk' bands who followed them later in the 1970s. A much underrated British band. Probably had much of the 'fizzy' stuff before this particular performance !
Amazing 😎 must be the New Favourites Tour with Brinsley Schwarz and Dave Edmunds in June 1974.
When i look at you girl .... ... I get an extension....i aint talkin bout graham bells invention ..... Cracks me up..... Mickey jupp, rock n roller.. love this song n " standing at crossroads"..
Pure rockn roll.
Why on earth is this not a No. 1 everywhere with a radio station?
Like those songs with keyboards.
Incredibly good. Any musician out there who thinks this is easy. Go for it.
Brilliant thanks....
fabulous
Very tight, and Mo is Killing it! Bravo
This is rare stuff, thank you
Still have a couple of his albums (LP -aka vinyl nowadays...) 😊 . This song is one of my FAVOURITES!
Vu le bon docteur dans sa formation initiale aux pavillon de Paris vers moitié années 70 la grande claque
Somewhere between early rockabilly and protopunk. Wish we could have got Wilko down to Nashville. RIP, brother.
This sounds more like doo-wop than the dirty sound that Dr. Fellgood later produced, after all, you get to hear a really good solo from Wilko!
I will remain forever astounded that none of these memorial concerts - particularly the first one - were professionally filmed or released. From the point of view of their place in musical history they were important, and they could've been sold to raise money for cancer charities.
Mustard Voice,Lyrics &Singing
Brilliant real blues should be published 👏 👌
I wish I was there but I was only 10 years old back then....
Excellent
What other bands did Steve play in ?
Apart from the Solid Senders, mainly remembered from the Count Bishops, but there's a full round-up here in a respectful obit. acerecords.co.uk/news/20151/steve-lewins

En 1975 à la vilette la fête rouge que de bons souvenirs
Great! Jerry Lee Jupp?
0:54 - latches strap back on guitar. No fuss, no trouble.
Thx great stuff, saw MJ late 9o in Stockholm then and now mega great
I remember seeing these at The Oval Rockhouse in Norwich ,spoke to Gypie for a fair while ,one of most down to earth bloke you could meet ,the band were fantastic ,being a big fan of the then Mighty Feelgoods they did the business ,harp was played by Steve West(on) ,Sparko was thinking of a rename being the Vintage Feelgoods ,I much preferred The Practice ,I actually still have a drumstick from that night ,shame they couldn't continue as Gary Miller was the man for the job,but obviously Dr Feelgood /Chris Fenwick hit the boards again so it wasn't to be ,great night though ,good to watch them in action via RUclips ,didn't think there was footage anywhere ,so thanks .
A BELTER

Interesting early version of All Right, don't think he would have continued doing it years later if he hadn't changed the lyrics
Yes, funny hearing it with the original lyrics! There's a version of this version (if you see what I mean) on the Dr Feelgood 'Wilko Years' boxset. It just doesn't sound right hearing Lee singing about taking some tea...
@@BackToTheBlues Ha ha, I see what you mean. It's virtually a different song. THIS version is like the missing link
