The legendary "Tin Idol!!" conversation in its entirety. Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) and an unknown suspect (Norman Alden) exchange pleasantries (well, Steve is reasonably pleasant, at any rate...), when suddenly, Alden's character launches an unforgettable, epoch-defining epithet directly at the head of 5-O. Steve eventually has a suspect-identifying epiphany as a result, however.

Noted academician Parmen is quite intent on recapturing the festive mood of the ladies, in as summary a manner as is possible. Said fabled mood does indeed remanifest itself, as Leonard Nimoy, as Mr. Spock, unleashes his formidable vocalizing powers upon the assembled multitude.

The truly great Mamuwalde denies, and denies utterly, access to his revered Lisa Fortier. An understandably shaken Lisa, after her epiphany regarding the vampire, is then tenderly consoled by said compassionate vampire.

Two increasingly "Anti-Social" solicitors, deeply wounded that the great Mamuwalde did not partake of their product (as *they* think of the bypassed young lady...), seek to separate the entirety of the vampire's "bread" from said vampire, and, perhaps also, to "kick his ass". A rightly unimpressed Mamuwalde, disgusted with their trade and their conduct, then demonstrates just what a poor choice...

The always-pertinent subject of Man's Basic Needs arises and is thoughtfully addressed; hopes and desires in re: Vampires (specifically the "jumping" variety) are expressed; the accuracy of the supposed "best method" in which to kill a Vampire, jumping or otherwise, is subjected to scrutiny; and a rather cryptic aspect imbues this conversation, as in: Who, exactly, knows What. About What. A hig...

The extremely great Dr. Richard Daystrom (William Marshall, in a memorable performance) finds himself to be un-understood to the point of near-exasperation. Season 2, episode 24.

The mighty Dr. Richard Daystrom (memorably portrayed by William Marshall) and Captain Kirk immediately lock horns over Daystrom's intent to replace the starship Captain with the M5 Multitronic Unit.

Dr. Richard Daystrom, portrayed by the truly great William Marshall, plans to show Leonard McCoy plans to show everyone, in fact and delivers, in his stentorian manner, a powerfully declamatory oration, all the while teetering on the brink of sanity. Season 2, episode 24.

Spock realizes that he and Captain Kirk are on the same page, and that a Triumph of Reason Moment is at hand. Kirk doesn't make the same mistake twice, in re: mis-ID-ing an aural transmission; and, in comparison to Kirk and his purposefulness, the Gorn seems a bit at sea.

Spock, upon his lightning fast identification of a substance, surmises what it could all mean. Kirk incorrectly speculates about who is contacting him; and the Gorn apprises the Captain of The Enterprise of the amount of mercy he can expect.

The Gorn shows remarkable bounce-back-ism, and he soon has Kirk dead to rights...until the formidable reptilian commits a blunder for the ages. Season 1, episode 18.

Spock is not afraid to succinctly categorize Dr. McCoy, with uncanny accuracy, and from point-blank range. Season 1, episode 18.

In realizing that he and Aldo (Brad Pitt) are not, level-wise, as high on the mutual respect-o-meter as he had hoped, Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz) becomes somewhat perturbed. Aldo....not so much.
