Match 1: Cole and Max were teasing the Kangaroo Kick for the last couple of weeks, but they've been teasing the double clothesline for about two months now, and we finally got to see it. It was incredible. Match 2: "It's real glass! Cry about it!" was fkn hilarious. Match 3: Completely agreed about the "Real World Champion" thing. Eric Bischoff mentioned this a few weeks ago. AEW shouldn't be officially acknowledging it. It was an excellent match until the end. I think Tyrus could have done a better Pepsi Plunge. Match 4: It's hard for me to watch Kota Ibushi. Taking those couple of years off really rusted him. I'm sure he'll get it back, but it's obvious he's not made of rubber anymore. He's still the most beautiful man on the planet. Jebus! Match 5: I'm so happy it's the Shatter Machine again. The Big Rig sounds so Memphis Territory. I had the Bucks as well, but I was happy either way. Match 6: This was just fun. The Orange's call-back to the Taipei Deathmatch was tremendous. Whether he was referencing ECW or the movie Bloodsport, it was awesome. And Eddie still giving Mox the finger when he was knocked out was tremendous. Match 7: I stand by what I said before, that I'm glad you mentioned in the video. Jamie Hayter showing up to help Shida would have gotten a much bigger pop than Saraya winning. There was just no build to Saraya having a Cinderella moment. She's been a heel on TV for six months. Also, I'm sorry we sent a dentist over there. I know that's a sour spot for you all. 😉🤣🤣 Match 8: Sting coming out to Seek and Destroy was tremendous. The rest of the match was a bit of a bathroom break for me, though. I've soured on Darby a bit over the years. I just think he's going to legit kill himself. Match 9: Jericho did a hell of a job keeping up with Osprey's newer style. And there were plenty of reasons to put Osprey over other than him being British. I'm sure AEW wants to sign that boy once he's done with New Japan. Attendance: Yes, WWE did lie by that much about Wrestlemania 3 and 36. They count every single head from employees all the way down to stadium employees. I think Bruce Prichard said that the actual paid attendance to Mania 3 was more like 69,000 and the rest were papered or counting staff. lol. And Korea obviously doesn't count since it was mandatory attendance and free. That's a bit of an unfair way to hold a record. Match 10: House of Black with the lantern made me cry through the whole match. NEXT!!! Match 11: The greatest thing I've ever seen in a ring. The Eddie spot with the chair and Cole's reaction to it made my fkn day. They looked like they were having so much fun and that translated. Fun video as always.

Really good video. I am with you on the whole Knight thing. Fozzy playing Jericho out to 80k people is the same amount of people they've probably played to in their career cumitively. The WM3 figure they counted everyone including concessions, talent, production staff etc, AEWs number announced was tickets sold. I'm with you on the HOB thing they've had a great run but I think with the stipulation of Billy Gunn retiring he had to win.

Shida just won the title. It would be further disservice to that title to flip it already just for a UK pop. There are other UK wrestlers on the card, and others making appearances. I think Hayter makes an appearance to help Shida overcome Saraya and Toni. Hayter would get a much bigger pop just showing up than Saraya would get by winning. At least I hope so. You Brits confuse me from time to time. lol. As far as the rest, I think you nailed a lot of them. You're absolutely correct that putting Punk over Joe in the Owen Hart Invitational sort of killed the story this match could have told. Now it really doesn't mean anything if Punk wins, since he already did last month. Another issue is it's ALSO for the ROH TV Title. Why put that on Punk? It's not like he's going to be making ROH appearances to defend it.

I would only disagree about the Bushwackers, simply because their win/loss record took place in a time when 90% of televised matches were squashes. Most win/loss records in that era were pretty absurd because of that. Now, as for one I would have included, what about Bob Backlund? Not his second run, obviously, but his first run in the 70s/80s. He was champion for over five years, with only a temporary interruption somewhere in the middle because of a Dusty finish or something screwy like that. That little vanilla midget went over the likes of "Superstar" Billy Graham, Hulk Hogan, Peter Maivia, Ivan Koloff, etc... I will never understand it. He was physically unimpressive with no flare about him at all, and had all the personality of a mayonnaise sandwich with extra mayonnaise. And his matches were incredibly dull even for their time, and this was a time when most wrestling was two guys who look like your drunk uncle you avoid at family get-togethers, doing rest holds for ten minutes until one of them hits a vertical suplex for the finish. I can watch old matches from the 50s and 60s and be entertained, but two minutes into a Backlund match, I'm suddenly wishing my mom had had an insurance plan in 1981 that covered abortion.

I feel bad for Fight Forever. I played for about two weeks, and then Baldur's Gate 3 came out, and I likely won't play anything else for the next six months.
