that island columbus landed on was not a warrior culture. Atleast there are no written records that confirm your claim. Columbus never witnessed them fighting each other or attacked them unprovoced. This is probably because the island was to small for tribal divisions to occur. It also had a sustainable climate all year round so they had no real reason to fight. Geography plays a vital role over how aggressive people become. If we take the buffalo hunters, than that is a different story as they were indeed violent brutes especially the comanches.
