No winner and no loser here: both renditions are very beautiful. But... Emma Kok has a challenging condition with makes it very special that she is able to perform: she is fully depending on feeding pumps to stay alive (22 hours a day, every day) since she was a baby: she has never ever had a real meal in her live, she has to undergo stomach surgery every 5 month to replace the feeding tubes, and she is 16. Emma's stomach is almost completely paralyzed, she has gastropresis at his worst and the only thing she can eat is a few raisins per day to keep her tastebuts awake. Her story is really very special and it is thanks to famous violinist/conductor André Rieu that Emma is performing on international stages now. Because Emma is as good as she is as a vocalist, he has decided to make it his mission to help Emma to live her dream: being a performing singer, and so far that works out very, very well. He is able to plan Emma's performances in his concerts during the 2 hours she can be disconnected from her feedingpumps. "Voilà" from July 2023 has 78 million views on RUclips, "Dancing On The Stars" from July 2024 has 12 million.... So that's impressive stuff. And Emma? She puts it this way: "Singing is my lifeline, the best medicine I have found".
