Rape Counselors of East Alabama is a nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential services to victim of sexual assault, their family, and friends in the Alabama counties of Lee, Macon, Chambers, and Tallapoosa.
Our 24/7 hotline number for survivors is (334) 705-0510.
As part of their outreach and prevention program, RCEA provides educational resources regarding consent, general sexual assault information, how to be a friend, bystander intervention methods, and more. Knowing the Red Zone: Sexual Violence Education for First Year College Students
RCEA staff and interns present on the "Know Before You Go" education- targeting first time college students in their first semester of college. This time period is known as the "Red Zone" where college students are at heightened risk of sexual violence.

Can the redness near their vagina be caused by molestation, or is that usually from penetration? I’m concerned about a child in my family
Scary.
Try redoing the video, with a steady camera and better sound recording. It makes it difficult to get your message across.

This literally describes what is happening to very young kids in school. Inappropriate sexual discussions, isolating them from parents by keeping parents in the dark as to what is being taught and encouraging the child to confide in the teacher rather than the parent. School curriculum around sex ed is straight up grooming at an alarmingly early age.

You taught this? Since they were born? That’s not ok! That’s not healthy. That’s actually grooming-esc. Telling a kid you can do *explicit* bUt OnLy If YoUr Ok WiTh It, that’s frightening. No, little kids do not have sexual feelings unless they have been groomed to have them.
