@@dalekling7303 I think its a good idea but there will have to be a lot of upgrades on the track system to get the speed up before people will ride it. I think if it started up in the next couple years there wouldn't be enough interest to keep it going. i could see some excursions though like to the Cherry Festival or maybe ski weekends in the winter.

As much as I'd like to see this, it takes too long for a passenger train to round-trip to TRAVERSE CITY and back from Ann Arbor. Then there is the problem with transportation in TC... It might have more interest if they go all the way out to the casino just outside of TC. The tracks go out there already...

@@bryanlosen3262 That is what they are planning. Having them go all the way to Williamsburg. And also for towns like Cadillac, Mt Pleasant, Traverse city etc. They will have buses be able to take people as far as the Upper Peninsula. and also have train cars that are able to hold bikes and stuff.
