@@IssaSenpai totally want a limelight subunit as well... theres just something really special with ot3...... but i dont think they would do it anytime soon... they still need to solidify the current ot7 lineup before they can go back to subunits.... but now that im typing it out, maybe its smart to push out a nagomi+serina subunit first...

(sori for the long reply, just skip it if you are not into it ^_^ ) it might be one of the reason why 143 didnt made ot7 madeleine/starlight right from the get go. 1) they wanted ot3 limelight separated from ot7 madein 2) they are still weighting their options. 3) i bet you the fancon isnt part of the og business plan as well, but since they needed to do something anything, they needed to use LL songs as ot7 songs i still do think that 143 needs to polish up on how they present the new group as 7 members. though majority of the fandom has soften up already for ot7, its mostly due to the members' and the fans efforts. that means outside of the existing fandom, most of the people outside of it just see madein as a renamed yeshiro + a nugu group + unknown people. harsh to say it but thats the common line while reading the comments outside the fandom. some didnt even know that madein is where yeshiro went. there are also people like you where they are on the fence how to feel. some even just straight up left. thats entirely 143s fault... they rushed the whole redebut on almost every aspect imaginable.. and by going fast they tripped... this redebut was at some point, almost is a career ending debut...

It's unfair to the other members, especially Nagomi and Serina. Since their debut, only "Yeshiro" and "Limelight" have been talked about, but they are forgotten and that also seems unfair to me. The decisions that 143 made from the beginning were disastrous, it makes me understand Keplian to a certain extent, it must be difficult to see your favorite group promote a song and two months later two of them Make a redebut, But that doesn't justify treating the other members as if they don't exist, I fully understand that those two are the most popular members but GOD the damn favoritism is so obvious. ​@@Alexxax (really appreciate the long reply. most people when they see my long reply just rans away from me🤣😂🤣) yap. totally get what youre saying... totally 143's fault. in a business perspective stand-point, it was supposed to be smart to use yeshiro for the rebrand marketing of madein. thats the whole point of sending their artists to a temp group afterall. the formula that made post-iz*one groups successful: alreadyEstablishedMembers + newMembers. but that was for totally brand new groups. madein, even if they renamed the group, has an already existing fanbase through limelight. madein is limelight first + yeshiro 2nd + newMembers 3rd 143 extremely underestimated limelight's fanbase, making limelight's original fanbase + yeshiro fanbase pit against each other instead of joining each other. and at the same time, failing to successfully introduce the new members. what they should have done was pushed out the newMembers first with introductory performance videos. might it be singing or dancing, doesnt matter as long as they get to introduce and showcase what they are bringing in to the group. as much as i love yeseo's and mashiro's cover songs, the budget for those should have been allocated for nagomi and serina first, pre-debut. then they should have released the first 3 episodes of their documentary series before the debut. those were very greatly needed content to pull all 3 factions together. and the brand damage that cursed mv spread was just so brutal... 143 basically made it so that to outsiders madein mv = ai trash a group that is handling redebut very well is fifty fifty. regardless of what people think of their past controversy, the current line-up of fifty has been introduced very effectively. each of the members were given introductory videos ala "this is what i look like, this is what i bring to the table". at the end of that, people knew the mission clearly. the cherry on top was keena receiving an award for cupid and the other members were with her. yes, it did garner mostly backlash, but at the same time, it sent out a very strong message loud and clear "this is the new fifty fifty. regardless if you like us or not, we would stand on this hill together, fall on this hill togehter" and that brought all fan factions of the members together. you could watch the fandom grew real time at that point of time, defending not just individual members but the group as a whole. (let it also sink in that most of the members has very short trainee periods compared to other idols that debuts) madein members hard-carried their own debut.. even reviving the whole company from an almost wipe-out... but even with the things i said, admittedly, 143 is getting better at handling things... so i really wish they pick things up on the next comebacks...
