Another usless box! video
I modified another users program and added some extra things to it,
the box I used was a little small but managed to squeeze it in there
the original is here

Flying Pendulum escapement
Просмотров 53 тыс.3 года назад
The end result of me making a flying pendulum, if I was to do another it would be driven by a chain weight system as the string tends to bind up! (run down time is 25 min not 15)

over crank pumping steam engine model running on air at 5 PSI
Sterling engine

this engine will run of a cup of hot water but works better with the little burner I made
Lovely
Nicely done! I have just completed A Georgina. It ran nicely for about 1/2 hour and then a knock developed from the bottom of the cylinder as the piston reached DDC. It runs very freely. I checked the mechanical parts .. no rubbing or anything hitting, piston well clear at the end of stroke. Tried different valve setting to no avail. I see another Georgina video by "overcrank1a " had the same knock. Do you have any suggestions what the problem could be? p.s. I like your inlet valve, is home made? or "store bought " any chance you could let me have construction details.?
Hi Thanks, the valve is home made, and its that long ago I cannot remember any details, I just made it up as I went along, as for the knock if its not mechanical could you be getting a water slug in the bottom as it will not compress and sound like its hitting the bottom,
@@Idotry1 Thank for replying. Good point. I did strip the cylinder down and I did find a bit of oil in the bottom (My model runs on compressed air ) but I don't think there was enough for the piston to come in contact with it in fact I "stroked" the piston up and down by hand and it seemed to have enough clearance at TDC & BDC. It still knocked after cleaning the bottom. I'm kinda thinking the problem maybe slide valve timing perhaps too early admission. I have tweaked it but I have not found the sweet spot yet. Anyway thanks again. iwilltry David.
Holy shit, this is briliant.
This looks a lot like a STIRLING engine, named after its inventor, Dr Robert STIRLING.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gorgeous
Nice nice nice nice nice it is
Simply fine Don't stop loading videos
Lister are good foundations
That's getting outside the box. Good mind
I love the sound. The tics are not a bug, they’re a feature. You gotta build it into a clock.
Uauuuu!!! Que legal, adoro mecanismos assim. Parabéns, belo trabalho!!
cool
I know 15min but have you hooked it up to anything to get its accuracy
Not at all, the string weight system is prone to binding up, a chain system would be better,
Brilliant!
Lovely piece of work, thanks for putting it up. My dad was a watchmaker, and would have really appreciated this.
This is bloody brilliant.
Yeah but it's got nothing on the Rockwell automatic self-regulating turbo encabulator.
@@slappy8941 I prefer Chrysler's turbo-encabulator - it may be older and not self-regulating like the fancy new Rockwell models but it still has a charm of its own. ruclips.net/video/MXW0bx_Ooq4/видео.html
Put in the kitchen. Next time when you boil eggs, use it as the timer 😊
Nice. What program did you use to modify the video?
Just modified the arduino program to add the eyes and flag!
@@Idotry1 nice touch
Great one!
Very simple and efficient.
Awesome
Very nice 👍🏼
neat!
you took a very simple toy and made it much more complicated than need be. cool though.
Of course I do, had a wooden and string version as a kid.
@@Lajos_Brekovszky you are wrong. grand illusions even has a video showing it. wont call you stupid, ignorant though.
@@obnobn2345 you might look in the mirror when looking for ignorant. then go back and read the full video description. ruclips.net/video/J-OY0KxRdgQ/видео.html Also google Da Vinci's Flying Pendulum Clock
He replicated a clock escapement from 1838. In the 19th c clocks and their design were high science. The flying pendulum did not become popular for a host of reasons, but as an experiment in design it not PlaySchool, it was mechanical engineering.
Now that's EFN cool, good job.
Thought this video was made 12+ years ago with the lovely introduction format
nah! its just my age, not used to all this new tec LOL :-)
Genius!
brilliant!
Nice one Mal! :)
What Is Islam? Islam is not just another religion. It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him
