yep... im 35, and of all the friends that have come and gone, it turns out that depression was the one familiar face thats stuck with me the longest. lingering like a gnat on a summers evening. just cant get rid of the mf... im trying so fucking hard. i really am. im trying to be a good dad and a good husband. i try to help anyone else who knows the crushing weight of depression. but like someone recently pointed out to me, whos going to help me? im drowning in past regrets, debt, work stress, and so much more. too much more.

12:25 i wish they kept the pause and heavy breathing here in the album version, i know it's so insignificant but it just makes such a difference to me for some reason.

This is either a blessing or the opposite. Dsbm is so enchanting and so dangerous for the same reason. Sometimes I feel compelled to listen to them for how good they are but afraid of getting too far into the mood at the same time.
