These models are silicone. It's not hard. The slim backgrounds have the magnets. I have them, and they're nice.

@@PriceTagAquariums So if you want to have the really large 3D rock background , those must be glued into the tank. And only the slim models are light enough to be secured by the magnets.. Is this correct ?

I have no experience in keeping a planted tank, but I'd like to sometime. My fishroom is also in the process of being temp controlled around 78 and getting rid of having heaters inside the tanks. Discus need warmer temps. Thanks for watching and your input!

I've got drums too lol. What kind of filtration?

Are you talking about the filtration of my aquariums or the water. The filters for my aquariums are sponge filters, and for the water, it's just tap water that I use water conditioner on with an air stone for 24 hours. I don't trust my city water 😒

I guess both, but yeah, you answered it, lol. Yeah, I wouldn't trust city water either. I have well water and I still use conditioner just because of having copper tubing and change of the seasons

The other thing is that when they flush the system with more chemicals. 2 years back, they let sewer water into the water system, and it got contaminated, and the water had E. coli.

Whoa that's crazy. Hope that didn't kill any of your inhabitants!
