Good story. Keano Reeves is one if the most recognizable men in the world. I have heard of his kindness and compassion. He seems like a good example in those areas. I don't believe, however, that this is a true story. Those rich boys would likely have seem most of his movies, and surely the cashier would have recognized his name on the card. Still, the story does provide some goid lessons.

would a waiter really mock a customer so openly in a busy restaurant? Even if rude, most staff wouldn’t risk their job by behaving so unprofessionally in front of others. There should have been more buildup to justify the waiter’s disrespect-maybe frustration from a long shift, a difficult manager, or previous interactions with the elderly man. Without that, his rudeness feels exaggerated just to push the plot forward.
