At first thought it's funny, but then the scenes come up and Yup, that's their toxic relationship. After a while I can't tell which one is singing because Saionji isn't the only delusional one. This anime is the one I used to get my friends sucked in and it worked. There's always another way to look at basically everything, every character... I think this went very well and as always, thanks for the subtitles!

I normally don't like when amvs have the show cropped to fit the wide aspect ratio, but you have a really good understanding of how to reframe these scenes so that they don't lose focus!!! the addition of the effects and actual content of the shots paired with the lyrics are glorious and i love everything about this <3 just had to gush about ur obvious technical skill as well

As someone who regrettably relates to Saionji (struggles with toxic masculinity, inferiority, becoming obsessed with people who I think are much greater than I am to the point where it destroys me... y'know how it is) I love this video lol. In a show with such beautiful wlw representation there's no need to get hung up on the men but TouSai is still quite special to me.

Ethel Cain x RGU is perfect, this video makes me uncomfortable in all the ways Utena is supposed to. The editing on Utena's rape, I felt it so viscerally, it had the same creeping dread as it does in the episode itself. This is masterfully done. I see a lot of AMVs focusing on how Akio abused Anthy but I rarely see people explore what Utena went through in this form.

Very well done! Love this protrayal of their relationship--both Saionji and Touga are some of the less liked characters (for good reason) but I tend to find every Utena character at least interesting or complex (not Akio tho, I just straight up despise him)
