2000 F-150 5.4 Flowmaster Super 10
Просмотров 90 тыс.11 лет назад
Just Installed a Flowmaster Super 10 SI/DO system on my 2000 F-150 with the 5.4 and I really like its deep aggressive tone, the only time it gets a high pitch sound is if you lay the pedal into the floor but for the most part it has a deep tone.

I bought the pro rack and decided it would be cool to add some lights so this is what it turned out to be. Hope you like it!

Me taking our 1967 Oliver 1750 for a spin it had been sitting for months so we decided to take it for a drive this tractor has the 310 Waukesha it has 6285 hrs no rebuild blows a little smoke but not much. My father restored this 10 years ago we also have a 1900 1600 and 1755 hope you enjoy
Sounds great......but I live in town, my neighbors would absolutely hate me, lol. BUT it would be a fun way to get back at the d-bag across the street with his noisy Harley, haha. I'm getting a Super 40 installed, that's what my dad had installed on his Chevy pickup when I "inherited" it when he could no longer physically drive. That truck was a certified hot wheels 4x4- was an extended cab with step side short box. It was painted by the previous owner black with flames across the hood and along the door panels- it was a bad ass truck. Sadly the frame rusted through and I had to sell it to a guy for parts.
Damn on a 5.4 you shoulda went true duals. Worth the money in my opinion! I love what you have tho it's awesome still
Please get back to me Jeff joliet Illinois
Sounds great I have a 2003 Ford f 150 54 engine glasspack on it running dual pipes out end y think I can just leave leave my duals on and take off the glasspack put the flowmaster super 10 on it
Hey did you ever do that? Was the super 10 louder than the glass pack? I’m wondering if I should do glass packs or a super 10 on my 07 navigator
My old 1750 don't look that purty for sure. Has 7700 hrs and still works every day. She's a horse that cuts hay and runs the round baler. Love this tractor.
do you still have stock cats? i just had a super 10 put on my 02 f150 5.4 and its nowhere near that loud
hell yeah for Walmart sawzall they're beast for cheapies.
do you still have your cats
do you still have your cats?
Yeah he does
Sounds good FORD FOREVER
would you recomend welding or using the clamps and what do you have to paint
Weld it as much spots as you can. BUT don’t weld the full exhaust because if you even need to remove it for whatever reason you will have to cut it off. So put a few band clamps on the exhaust so you can pull it apart. Spend the extra money on some good high quality band clamps and not the cheap ubolt style clamps from Autozone. One the band clamps won’t crimp the exhaust together plus they give a better seal that when done right will almost never leak
Does that year have stake pockets or did you mount it without?
Nice 1750, our 1850 has a long ways to go before it looks as good as yours.
have an 03 f150 5.4 it's to quiet
with super 10 forgot to mention that
any suggestions for V8 engine what kind of tubing i need? for this? 3" or ?
Most shops can’t do 3 or 2.5 inch tubing. But 2.5 is your best bet
I have a 4.6l think it'd sound bout the same?
I have a 4.6 in my crown vic, with the super 10 single exhaust it is mean trust me you will love it
Hey brother, what kinda lights are those on your headache rack?
Sounds nice! I got the same truck same color. Did that muffler slip on the stock pipe?
How much it Cost
I dunno if its the way recordings pick up sound but everyones 5.4 triton with the super 10s sound much better/louder than mine.
Guys check out my new video of my exhaust!
awesome vid, did you take the resonators off?
YANFRASIER Nope
how many cats are on this? my f150 has 4 cats its the supercrew and with a glass pack you cant even hear the thing
All of em! Mines isn't super loud but has a deep tone when your cruising around and when you stomp on it, it means business but its not true duals loud if you know what I mean.
Tony Accorso my navigator as 4 cats on it to and I have the MagnaFlow and it not loaded at all
is it loud in the cab going highway speeds? Or does it fade away
It drones a little on the street but to answer your question it will be loud on the highway only if your doing speeds about 70+ or if your truck down shifts, where I live the highway speeds are mainly 55 so it isn't bad at all, once your truck goes into overdrive I cant really tell it's there. :)
Sick man you a thug...!
if you angle these and turn them down, the echo makes it louder!
This sounds SEXY!! Thank you for this , I was in a tossup between the Original 40, the Super 44, and the Super 10. After watching this video, I'm sold to the Super 10, for sure.
Tell me about it! I had to go with my gut with this muffler hoping that it wouldn't crackle or be to quiet but have that nice deep tone... Man was I happy with my decision. :)
Where did you get this
Got it off ebay for like $200 pipes, muffler, and clamps all included
sounds sick man! check out my exhaust video and tell me what you think, I have a 98 f150 with true dual glasspacks and the same tips
Yes and No, if you lay into the pedal it will be loud for sure but if your strolling along it's pretty smooth and if your on the interstate or road it usually cuts off at 40 mph and it wont drone. I have no regrets on buying this muffler I'm glad I picked the Super 10 over the other ones because I would've regretted it.
does it popor is it smooth
Thanks and no I really don't have a build thread (guess I can start one). When I got my truck it had a bed cover. everything else was stock.
It would look better if you had turned your camera 90 degrees.. Looks like I'm looking through a picket fence.
Just got us a 1750, can't wait til we get it painted
